Did someone tried the demo and can give us a return?
im sure it would be in good quality even if the animations are not the best thing and there isnt much variery in the sex scenes...the choice of the girls --looks or personality-- is good also the story...so if you played previous versions expect pretty much the same stuff...

What're your top ones then? Cause I see you posting on a lot of the games I like, so I figure your opinion is knowledgeable lol
The ones I don't post are the ones I don't like lol. But if you want, you can write to me privately and I'll tell you some names, saying it here is off topic.

the reason we feel so short because theres so many path the game had, thats why if we only play 1 path the game update feel so short.

wish the dev focuses on playtime rather then to focus on the 4 months deadline...he should hit 1 hour gameplay in each release in my opinion...since lets assume the game has 10 releases (from 0.1 ----> 1.0) thats a total of 10 hour gameplay which is a rich content and story game in my view...and sure there is many paths a player can take but the playtime is also important you cant cut elements for the "good guy" path for exemple without adding others to it,there must be a balance to things and each path should have nearly the same playtime.....isnt it reasonable ?

tbh i'm not fan vn with multiple path, also dev lock the choice if we already on 1 path but the game is good so i'm gonna play anyway.

How do even measure this "playtime"?

This is a highly subjective metric so i call this bullshit.
** Elduriel If you think about it, you're still finishing faster than the average player (deadline or playtime) because you're reading words faster. and the 1 hour was just an exemple...
**You can use renpy's auto-forward feature as the basis for it, or as Dogorti mentioned, each render will be considered 5 seconds for example. I'm sure you can come up with a good measurement. Ultimately, the idea is that the game won't be released until the dev is satisfied with it and the playtime mark is reached for each path by itself.

I'm just going to say that playtime is not a terribly helpful metric when judging a visual novel. If it is a Triple A action/adventure or RPG we are talking about, sure. But since VNs are stories, much more like CYA books than they are like games, are they really better just because they are the fucking War and Peace of jerk-off games? I think not. I never complained that the average CYOA book was something like 100 pages. There was a lot of story packed in there. I think that a better way to judge them are replayability. You may get to the end of one path pretty easily but maybe you want to see the path less travelled. Maybe some of the decisions were hard, and you are not sure that you made the right choice. Maybe unintended consequences recontextualize the entire way you thought about the game. This is the quality that most of the VNs I enjoy tend to have.
