Cmon its pretty nice here...the coments on some sites its pretty hardcore :HideThePain:...f95zone is pretty chill
It depends on the thread. I usually try to avoid "mainstream" game threads because the people there are usually annoying.

I'm really looking forward to Mason & Viola interacting, I think they're both so adorable. If Viola's feelings aren't reciprocated by Gabby, it would be so sweet if she finds new love in the arms of Mason :giggle:

I wonder if she would get a nice tickle in her brain from technically still being a lesbian(/bi), but also subjectively kinda being straight considering Mason's identity. Like, she'll get to eat snaz while saying "he", I wonder if that's exhilarating for a lesbian(/bi..)? Kinda like how straight guys are excited by dickgirls or w/e

Guys I was thinking. It would be super wholesome and romantic after having a nice midnight stroll in the park while holding hands with either Risa or Nicki or both. When we go back to my place i'll give them some headpats and belly rubs while they lay on my lap while watching tv. We all would fall asleep like that. I would boop their nose to wake them up the next day

You know, right at the top of FiN there's a big disclaimer saying certain kinks and fetishes are fun to explore in a fictional setting, but you should never drag them into the real world. And yet, time and again I see my work used as an excuse to denigrate the mental health and personhood of actual trans people.

So, when I make my next game, don't be surprised if I don't give you the option to be an asshole, because I'm frankly tired of feeling like I'm adding fuel to the fire of shitty opinions.

This is still a game where you can (actually) rape women. There is a lot of immorality going on, not only transphobia. Not like this game is pandering to any deviance anyway. It's just a mature story.

I don't think that making that kind of content makes you a less moral person, in art and entertainment there have always been controversial topics, whether to criticize it or in the form of a fetish, that doesn't mean that the creators agree with those topics in any way in real life imo.

I think if people are passionate, it means you've crafted a compelling story, it would be a shame to kneecap yourself because of something as transitory as politics.

Nah it's not that odd at all. There are trans guys who are feminine as well as trans girls who are butch/masc. The interesting thing is that being gender non conforming can cause some trans people to question if they're really trans.

For Mason I could see him presenting either way. It seems like he's comfortable presenting feminine but I'm curious how much is do to him just enjoying feminine things or if it's due to trying to appeal to the mc.or how much is it due to what he had to do to survive on the streets.
I can see him liking the femboy look considering the way he acts around good Guy, but anything further than that i think is simply Mason trying to survive as a homeless sex worker, who needs to eat and avoid being a victim of some hate crime in a dark alley.

The issue is the inability to understand the meaning to choose. And maybe it is good to give those a mindfull lesson about it. The one that chooses is the one who has to take responsibility of the outcome, not external circumstance one made conviniently responsible when the outcome is as shocking as it might be.

Edit: Thats why I love your project!

Wait a minute, you put in game something that is considered controversial by many and you are surprised by the fact that this generates discussion and exchange of opinions? Strange

Conversations on the internet involve real people.

AVNs don't.

If you don't understand that distinction, I'm not sure how else to explain it.

Anyhow, I'm really sympathetic to a dev being tired of people using his morally gray work to try to justify shitty real world behavior. I see it way too often with darker porn games. FiN is one of the few that really knows how to walk that line, but clearly not all FiN players have figured it out yet.

So it's his own fault?
To be fair, you include an incredibly debated and divisive (and oft political) character into something...expect it create discussion. So in a way, yes, it is. You can't include said content and then be annoyed it creates something you knew it would create (especially on the randomness and anonymity of a medium such as the internet).
