And you have reason to be pissed off. I totally understand that. And I have never, and will never, share any creator's exclusive content. Yours either. I think that's a mean thing to do. However, you can't control what your subscribers do. Sure, you could become a total asshole like some content creators do. But that rarely does anything. At most it pisses off your subscribers.

SleepyGimp comes to mind. A fairly well-known porn comic artist, and one I stopped supporting a while ago because he started going all out on DRM. And the result? His comics keep leaking.

Anyway, long story short, my point is that I understand you. And I think you're totally justified in slapping the leaker on the wrist. Just don't go too crazy about it, it's not going to stop your content from leaking, and people don't support you for that exclusive content. Yeah, sure, when there's a new release, subscribers go up. I do that too. And it's normal. But I highly doubt they'll go up because you post a few pictures of Britt in a bikini, or Viola dancing the twist, or whatever. And don't get me wrong, subscribers appreciate those things, and it helps you retain them between releases. But it's not a draw.

I seen neon mention there will be a month time jump for ch.11, which feels like a lot. Wasn't Viola ready to be a maid almoat immediately, then fallout from some other relationships(for those on Gabby, I'm personally not, and Cassie showing up. You also would have the movie project be on hold for all that time, and other things with other characters too. Idk a month feels like a big jump imo, when maybe 1 week could be enough, maybe slightly more with 1 1/2 or 2 weeks.

I have a little advice of my own, for you; game devs are more likely to take your suggestions seriously if you don't talk to them like they're a child or a moron.

I guess you didn't see my post in a thread about story driven AVNs in the recommendations subforum where I made my F95 Zone all-time favourites and I put Friends In Need in my top 5 AVNs ever made list.

The reason why I write in this game thread is that I think that this VN is worth my and everybody's attention.

And... are devs children or morons? well, judging by the stories and the dialogues of their games I daresay that they mostly are.

Most of them either are children or they simply never read a book in their whole life except cheap genre fiction, they never watched a movie except some superhero films, they never went to a theatre and watched a play, and they don't know anything about literary theory (this is for sure).

The money is the hard part, the contacts aren't that hard to acquire. (I will refrain from fully explaining because this isn't an advertisement for hiring mercenaries, if you ever really need to know, you'll figure it out.) You just have to be careful, you don't want to take out a billboard downtown and talking to certain people amounts to the same thing. And I'm not necessarily saying have Lucien assassinated, just extract Cherry from the situation. My guess is that, unless he's very well connected and more afraid of his boss than death, a half dozen guys with assault rifles, Kevlar and laser sights suddenly showing up in his bedroom at 4 am would make him very cooperative and compliant and that Cherry and anyone else who want to leave would be showered, medically assessed and sitting down to a nice breakfast by 7. But it is NeonGhosts story to tell. I'm just thinking about what I would do if I had piles of money and needed to solve a problem when commonplace solutions - like going to the police, weren't working.

This AVN is not a realistic novel.

Which is all the more reason not to condescend to the dev of the game for basically no reason, right? I'm asking a genuine question, because as I said, I really just don't get the tone of your previous message.

To be clear, the elements that made it read as condescending to me:

• Starting it with "a little advice", as if you're talking to an intellectual inferior or someone too young to have a grasp on the world
• Bolding phrases can read as changes in volume/tone, which if read aloud or with ones inner voice can come across as a little passive aggressive, depend on how it's done. Sort of like a gangster in a movie, trying to intimidate someone by raising their voice mid-sentence
• The emote at the end of your post

Anyhow, I'm not trying to lecture you. As I said, I'm just baffled by the tone. If it's intentional, it might be worth rethinking if that sort of tone is working to your benefit. If it's unintentional, perhaps it's something worth making an effort to avoid doing.

I think this will be my last message on this subject, to avoid cluttering the thread more than I already have. Feel free to respond to me if you care to, though. No reason stepping away from the subject should entitle me to have the last word.

But, to zoom out a bit.. One of the themes I keep hitting in the game, is that violence really doesn't solve much. Guy gets physical with Erik the homeless pimp, and nearly gets stabbed over a homeless kid's backpack. Jamie decks Guy, and loses his girlfriend. Guy confronts Marcus and Lucien, and nearly gets his head blown off. Guy learns a single self-defense move, and winds up in jail.

I've said it before, but why I find Lucien compelling isn't because he's some larger-than-life villain. It's because his brand of evil is so common and banal.

Just to let you know, one of the most important reasons why governments are in control is because they control the violence to their own legitimacy. Just because you feel safe because of the "police" doesn't mean that you can be a docile sheep... but sure, there are moments when you need to back down as it is not worth it , but there are moments when you certainly have to fight. violence might not be solving anything for you but for a guy that has nothing to fear it can fix quite alot The guy did the right thing by assaulting the rude detective; he had it coming, but of course you can't attack the "law"...also fuck the homeless guy with the knife; hope we can get him in the future...

There is quite some irony in three out of your four examples being violence not working for Guy because he tries it on someone who is willing to use more violence than he can. Violence worked out pretty well for the other guy in each of those situations.

Plus, what would the girls think? I don't want them to see blood, violence or have to be around that sort of thing at all.

Hey fellas, i played this game a while ago and when i came back most of the options i remembered were gone. Was the game remade ? I tried following the guide that was made but the options don't pop like they should
