That’s what I don’t really get. Mason isn’t boyish at all: he has feminine hair, a feminine figure, dresses in a feminine fashion (tight leggings, oversized shirts—even wears lacy lingerie). I don’t remember him wanting surgery or hormone therapy either, although I do admittedly go through his scenes rather quickly, so that might be on me. As far as I can tell, he’s basically what a conservative might have you believe a trans person is: one who presents in a way 100% in line with their biological sex, but just arbitrarily asks to be called the opposite.

Now, personally, I’m not into trans stuff at all, but it makes me wonder, Is this really what people who are into it want out of that content?
There are masculine trans girls and feminine trans guys. Not that big of a deal really.

It's really hard to put into words how much I loved this chapter. It affected me emotionally in a good way.
Admit it, you just liked you could let Mason spit in Guy's mouth. :sneaky:

(although how it or the other dominance act ties with Mason getting off on it is rather cute. Wonder if it means Guy would be taking the bottom role in their relationship down the road)

Oh, I won't deny that part made me giddy. The whole scene was just so well done.

This is kind of the problem that I have with female-to-male transgender in porn games. There is just no point. It's just a girl that identifies as a guy. There is no fetish, no nothing.

I would have preferred a male-to-female transgender, without surgery. But keep the personality of Mason that everyone likes so much.

You mean someone like Shauna? having a girl persona with a penis, ashamed of that.

There's all kinds of people in that umbrella all with different ideas of their identity or what they're comfortable with. I have seen transmen who, to me anyways, seem to want to stay a girl in practically every way except their pronoun; they're like 'femboy' transmen. Mason seems to be that. Also, keep in mind he has brain injury and is autistic, autistic people are more likely than general population to identify as trans. Don't know if that was author's intent, but interpret that however you want.

From a porn game perspective, well basically only bi/gay men like fully transitioned transmen. If you want to appeal to a (mostly) straight male audience, you keep the transman's femininity completely intact, and the appeal basically becomes a little gayplay through 'he/him' (which I'm definitely into, can't speak for others). That's how I see it, anyways.

Otherwise, for people who aren't into gayplay, but like altgirls/tomboys, can just use 'she/her' and acknowledge their gender outside of sex which keeps you on their good side.

It's also story, yes, but people should remember that at the end of the day, it's still a porn game and so the expected 'rules' of porn games are still there. Plus, whatever the dev's into is obviously what they're going to put into their game. This is basically the only version of a 'transman' that is acceptable to most audiences from a sexual pov. Not a good or a bad thing, just is what it is.

Counter-argument above if you're curious. The fetish is basically "safe" gayplay (so, not actually gay, but you get to pretend it's sorta gay, like asking your girl to dress as a football player or something :LOL:), or for people who aren't into that, altgirl/tomboy. And it's the character the author wanted. So there's definitely a point.

Can I be pedantic? Sure, it's me...you all expect it anyway lol.

It's a kink...very rarely ever is it a fetish. A kink is something out of the norm that gives you pleasure....a fetish means you absolutely need it to get that pleasure,.

Thanks for the insight, I haven't thought of it that way ^^

I’ll chalk that up to my not understanding trans people in general, then.

I don’t know about that, because there are plenty of people on this site who identify as straight and still engage in content with hermaphrodites and 100% pre-op transwomen, or even femboys. (As a straight man myself, I don’t understand this either).

That’s another one I don’t get. If you respect gender identity at all, then don’t you have to accept that anyone who says they’re a man is a man? So you’re having sex with someone who tells you straight up that he’s a man, while fully acknowledging that he’s a man? You do you (no judgment), but that’s an instant no from me, regardless of what the guy actually looks like. I don’t see how that has anything to do with ciswomen dressing up in a football uniform (women’s football is a thing, too, and it could just be a thing about guys liking when their girlfriends wears their clothes), or even alt girls (who, while they might have short hair or androgynous clothing, can still look quite feminine).

I think that's just difference between getting hung up on artificial labels ("that's a man/woman") vs owning up to physical attraction to features which you would find inherently attractive with the lack of any such gender labels.

Physical attraction is well and good, but the mind counts for something as well.

Sure, but then the whole "she is a man so i can't have sex with her" is purely artificial construct in said mind. Meantime, your other parts of the same mind are totally getting primed by what they perceive to be a hot person with all the sex characteristics that your mind was all-trained to get turned on by.

I can only speak for myself, but I get the same visceral turn-off reaction when Mason says she’s a man as when I actually see naked men; it’s definitely not a case of “body’s into it, mind is against” like you’re describing.

I get to some extent what you're describing, the idea that "this is a man who just happens to look like a girl" certainly brings some sense of weirdness to it. Though i'm not sure how much of that is Mason's self-identification and how much is discomfort over not being quite able to see him the same way he sees himself. I guess the degree of it simply differs between individuals and some people are less affected by it (or not bothered by idea of intimate contact with a man in the first place)

You can call it closet gay/bi if you want, but most men who like transwomen/dickgirls identify as straight. Gay men do not usually look at porn with transwomen, they watch transmen. Generally. I don't really want to get into the other stuff, I was just explaining the sexuality aspect and what players want. They either want a cute transgirl that looks exactly like a chick, but with a dick; or they want a transboy that basically looks exactly like a feminine chick, but 'he/him'. Those are the neat boxes players have decided on from what I see. You don't really have to understand it, just decline Mason's sex advances and focus on the other LIs, no biggie.

i dont find anything to do with mason calling himself a man arousing. its just a part of the story. i dont care if the MC is into it either. when watching erotic content, not everything has to get me off or be my kink as long as their is a story worth seeing. Like the tv series spartacus, could have done without the gay gladiator scenes, but whatever was a great show.

regardless i do not see the appeal of mason's gender identity. and i think its funny how some people say both, respect mason's gender identity but also so say you can fuck him cause he's got a pussy which makes him a girl. lol. no im not banging a woman who wants me to call her bro when im inside her, so not screwing a man with a pussy either. not my thing. and yes, words can kill erections, just like they can bring arousal they can end it.
