As of current version, it's possible to start Mason Romance path while considering her a female. The choices to achieve this are different, but it's still possible. Where this will lead, I do not know, but the author for now left this door open.

I think when you have sexy time with Mason at the protagonist's old place/photo studio, there's the option to come inside Mason. I wonder how the latter will react in case of an eventual pregnancy or something like that.

The harshest option is going away. Neon feels it is out of place for the MC at that stage of the game, and it will feel more natural for that to happen after he has gotten more used to having money.

-Refer to her as a female
-Insist in doing so even when asked by Mason
-Don't cuddle (or don't have sex at all)
-Say that you're helping her with no strings attached
-Kiss her at the end
This will start the romance anyway. I think the important steps are 4 & 5
Not pulling out in the second encounter results in the relationship switching to 'abusive'.

I've practically lived on this site since I started playing these games (heck I think I'm here more than the mods lol) but so few stories are as enthralling as FiN.
I mean I easily get attached and stuff but not that many really make me wish I could freeze myself or something until the game is completed like FiN does.
Games come and go, and the writing is of various quality, but I can confidently say FiN is top tier.
Did you guys know I almost deleted my account here last year? This was actually one of the main reasons I didn't.
Now if only I could decide which LI to marry first.

Mason not immediately putting his foot down on not being called a guy, after years of living on the street as sexual worker, is hardly a sign that he will keep romance with Guy going if you keep misgendering him, after he gains some confidence. It's also extra naive to think that'd make him go even further and actually change perception of self.
IIRC the author has stated that this romance is centered around Mason eventually starting to set boundaries instead of allowing Guy to do whatever he wants.

That is just evil Guy being a bigot, it changes nothing about who Mason is. Like every other evil rapist choice this is bound to have as consequence Mason leaving after realizing he is safer away from Guy, just like Nicki and Viola.
can we ally whit the rude detective or lucien to get nicki and viola back maybe mason would help if we trick him

I don't even play that many any more either. I come here mostly now to talk to my group of friends like you dude. And now that FiN is hopefully coming to steam its one less game on here I need to keep an eye on.playing AVNs is a hobby... maybe not a good one, but still

FiN being available on Steam I think will change the game in many ways. Some for the better, some for the worse. Obviously if I were NeonGhosts I would do it. But as a fan of the game, I have my doubts that the game will still give me what I ask for. But we'll see.

General FYI: I uploaded a teaser for Chapter 1, tier-locked for $15 patrons. No ero content in this one, as it ends just as Nicki arrives to meet with our hero. Hoping to have the love path content complete by next weekend, though. Reactions have been good thus far. People have said, "this redux has really added a lot more life to the characters," and, "I didn't dislike the original Chapter 1, but I feel like this was a huge improvement."
My plan, as it stands right now, is have an edited version of Friends in Need on Steam, and then a patch on my website that can be downloaded and applied to restore all the content. From what I've seen, this is totally fine as long as I don't explicitly mention said patch on the Steam page. But, reviewers can do so, to direct people to where they need to be.

So that image's from when the protagonist got his place in Rhodenbarr Tower, sometime after he got his fortune (one that Carl Rhodenbarr aka Risa's father would later mention it was just luck, and not in a good tone).

Correct! This version plays out a little differently than it did originally, in that Guy has not fully moved into his new place, when he shows it to Nicki.

In my signature I have the most barebones of a site, with some images from the game, and links to where you can find it. I need to put together an actual website (or more realistically, hire someone to do so) because right now my actual platforms tend to get drowned out in search results, by pirate spam. :'D
