Inaccurate, actually. Friends Indeed has the images removed from then image file, and the text removed from the script. The only way to enable dark content in Friends Indeed is to overwrite basically everything with Friends in Need files.
edit: Also, both games use separate save file directories.

Yeah, I actually went back and corrected myself a bit as the second I posted I realized I should check the image.rpa annndddd yeah, just as you said. Does the taboo patch do anything on this chapter, though? I could swear I wasn't getting the "Explotation" option before I put it in.

For Friends Indeed, no. It’ll still soft-wall stuff like the roleplay scenes with Ashe, that I think may be a bit borderline.
For Friends in Need it opens up a new path and set of scenes near the end.
Can you imagine the complaints when they DID?

It's a good remake and it was necessary because old Ch1 was outdated compared to new chapters. Nikki is hotter and the relationship between her and Guy is now more fleshed out. The remake has new scenes with other characters now showing earlier in the story, alo it works like a bridge between poor ass Guy and rich fuck Guy that was absent in the OG.

I just finished giving the Chapter 1 remake a go. For what it is worth I really enjoyed it. I really like how Nicki looks in the remake now. The story parts with Guy's doubts and worries felt reasonable to me. It is a significant life changing event and I can get why he feels overwhelmed. It is also cool that there is more background establishment like meeting with his lawyer and the grocery store owner, etc. So yeah, I really liked the remake and I think Neon did a great job.

Little Man (2006), i watched it 19 years ago, it was funny movie then, but everything is funny when you're young, according to ratings on IMDB, it's probably not a very good movie.
