It already has had an impact on me personally. Last year, when some bad shit happened, I would often think of FiN and wonder about what could happen to make myself feel a little better.

At first, I only had eyes for Nicki then Mason came along, and now I'm fawning over Britt and Isabella. And let's not forget when I was in my Risa obsession for a month or two

Good stories, good art can do that, being helpful in difficult times. I hope you're through that, though and are in a better place now Joshy.

I've only played through the game once, with Nicki as my girl (obvs), though it started with Gabi until she dumped me. I'll probably play a few more routes, but have a hard time seeing me go very dark (though murder is tempting) I'm way too much of a wuss for that.
I like Madison and turning him down on my current save is not easy.
And you can't avoid rooting for our brave and struggling Russian, can you?
And then there is Cassie, and she's barely made an appearance yet. I want to fix 'us', though I wonder what dark or gray paths Neon will lead us down with her.

this is a game I kind of struggle to replay just for fun for 2 Reasons. A it's turn my horny brain on and I want to see more sexy time and scenes than the game actually has cause my fantasies go wild in this one. B I already know what happens so my fantasies are kind of ruined knowing what I do know about the game.

But I wait long enough I can replay it just fine just not a game I can do so often like with my other favorites.

As I said above I've only played it through once, but this is one of the few games I am seriously considering playing several paths of. That's something I don't do all that often, I was never a completionist.

I played all paths but 2 in this one well more if you count seeing different variations of choices on the dark path. I can play most paths in this all except Mason and Gabby while I don't hate their character or anything ( tho I don't like Gabby and find her annoying) I can't get myself to play those 2 paths while other AVN's I play pretty much every path easily most of the time even of characters I dislike. Just the thought of their path in this game just turns me off and I don't even want to see it no idea why. If I had to guess it's because of the age gap and how those characters look and act id feel id be taking advantage of them to much no idea if that is actually the case tho just a guess on my part.

Of course I agree. I think that once Neon has wrapped up the game, it will be remembered as one of the very best ones, a game people will mention years later when talking about the best, most impactful stories AVNs have to offer. What you can do, and what types of stories it's possible to tell. I'm not saying it'll set a standard, but it will have an impact.

Let's not look so far into the future, because it may well turn out that tomorrow Neon will be run over by a taxi or something.

Hey, folks! Hope you're all doing well this week. I'm in the doldrums, but I suspect it'll pass soon enough. Onwards and upwards.

I thought I was finished with the renders I needed for the unified Season 1, and then I remembered.. Chapter cards! I wanted to do those. So, I'm going to get on that this week, and get them all plugged in where necessary. Besides that, I'm still just working on the code and dialogue tweaks, playtesting, and trying to make sure I don't break anything. At present, the plan is to get the unified Season 1 out on the 28th. As always, check the Discord if you want more up-to-the-minute updates. I try not to spam-post too much, here.

I'm very much looking forward to getting this Season 1 alpha out. There's some cool little tweaks here and there, which I think really add an extra dimension to the player's relationship with Gabby, Madison, and Ashe. Plus, if you haven't played v0.27, you're in for an extra 300+ images of content, including some sexy ero content with Brazilian hottie.. Beatriz!

Speaking of v0.27, I've updated the pinned post with the link to it -- something I should've done ages ago. While I was at it, I also added the PDF files (with art!) for two short stories: Glitter and Grit, featuring Isabella, and A Little Mad Part Two, featuring Madison. If you haven't read them yet, maybe check them out while you wait on the next release.

I get you. And with Madison there's also the fact that he is vulnerable. Aside from his age, as with Gabby, the fact that it would be so easy to make him dependent on you, basically prostituting himself for the security and money you can provide.
I have very, very mixed feelings about being in a relationship with him, as intended by Neon I'm sure.

I just wanted to emphasize that life is unpredictable and many things can happen, so if you want to look into the future, look at the near future at most. For example, I hope that the next update will be without any major bugs.

Hey, thanks for the kind words! Hoping to get the Steam release out around October or November. As for redoing more stuff: there won't be any big, sweeping changes like with Chapter 1. But there's a couple scenes I still want to build on, because I ran out of time to finish them the way I wanted to, prior to a chapter release.

I've redone the couple of scenes that really bothered me with Chapter 2, which intro'd Gabby, Ashe, and Madison. The only one I might still be tempted to redo in full, is the scene where Guy visits Gabby and Madison at their home. There are some expressions and poses in that scene which just aren't very good, and blah blah blah. Plus, I'd like to add some variety to how you can approach Gabby, to give more of a pervy-but-not-outright-asshole choice. But I'm not going to mess with it for now.

Otherwise, my only plans to redo things are to correct little things as I notice them/have time. Just as an example, here's a couple revisions.

BEFORE: Using the old model of Nicki which had problems with the eyes. Also, way too many expression sliders in use, making her face look weird. Background badly pixelated behind Guy, because I didn't adjust the tiling setting for the window surface.

AFTER: Replaced Nicki with the newer face model, added water, and put a warmer, pink light in the scene to make her less grey/washed out. Added depth of field to Guy's screen, to disguise the background.

There's little stuff like that which I want to fix on an as-needed basis. Assets clipping, pixelated backgrounds, etc. Again, I'm not planning on making it a focus, but if I notice it I'll usually jot down a note to fix it later.

oh wow Chapter one Remake. Here goes the money milking scheme. Poor poor patreon supporters. I mean isn't the game in development in 5 years already. Need another 5 years to complete it? Maybe 3 reworks for a lousy game with uninteresting characters

Worst, he never updates the best girls and ignores the best scenes, he just adds his own self kinks like the black girl and that weird feminine boy. He is in the path of failure. Oh and not to mention the slow update times

my respect to this game is big , the dark path is very fun and varied , and all the LI's and their scenes are good looking and attractive , except ashe and madison , and maybe pepper ? anyway...looking forward for the next update.
