I'm not even a Nikki lover(also not a hater), the blatant misogyny of referring to any character who isn't a perfect demure little virgin as a whore pisses me the fuck off. It's so prevalent in these forums, especially in harem games (which I prefer), not that this is one, but the constant current is exhausting.

Ah it is just Canto Forte, slut shamer extraordinaire. You know, because to his world view there is only one acceptable reason to have sex (the pleasure of one man) and if you may have a more pragmatic reason or just want to do it for fun the big guy in the sky is turning down the bed in motel hell just waiting for you to die. Canto won the gold medal for unsolicited bouts of false outrage at the 2018 Winter Olympics. I take it as a win when his misogynistic rants are at least coherent. You do get used to it.

If harem ends up not being an option and I do have to pick just one I'll probably start over mono Nikki. I'm very loyal and can't break it off with first girl or cheat, if I have the option to not do those things. It's part of why I hate having to choose, because it'll always be first girl, so if there's no harem to work towards (preferably openly and honestly) I miss the rest of the game. And ain't nobody got time to replay things, I don't even replay my favorite AAA games.

Yeah I'm pretty much the opposite I really like games that give you the option for monogamy.
But I think we will both be happy by the end of the game.

I said before what change I think should be made to chapter 3. Let us choose how to treat her upon her return, which we can't currently really do; how he treats her is determined by the choice made in the beginning. If we were mean to her at the start, he's an asshole to her with only some minor choices to be slightly more or less harsh with her, and if we were nice to her at the start then he's automatically understanding and forgiving with only a slight difference in just how forgiving he is. No choice to not forgive her. Instead, IMO, give us the choice how he reacts to her reappearance. Maybe he treated her badly at the start, but he regrets that and is nice to her and seeks her forgiveness. Or maybe he was nice to her at the beginning, but after she ghosts him it hardens his heart and he is cruel to her upon her return. Give the player some agency over this instead of changing how she returns.

I kinda like this idea too, maybe it can be combined with original idea of dev. Slight changes in narrative and a few more options can be better. Though, branching in this game is already verge of overwhelming and we will have a few must branching if this change also adds to it I don't think it will be a good idea. :unsure:

If there's only one real li I'm down for those, or if the girls don't act all sad post rejection... I feel bad making the pixels sad, never can complete an evil run in any game that has an either or. Here (the forums) especially if MC is too jerky or creepy I just nope out.

Yeah, I agree I have stopped playing a lot of games on here because the mc is just a creepy arsehole with no options for the player to change that.
But I can already tell this game is different.
