You could fix that at 18+ for the Steam version, I guess? The main exception being Mason, who asks MC how old he wants him to be. It'll still be removed in a potential Steam version down the line, because they're prickly about such things. But, I feel fine with Mason being canonically 20, but willing to say he's younger to please dark-path MC.
It is always good to cover your bases. You never know when some asshole with a grudge can try to denounce the game to Patreon or later Steam and them you have to rush to make the game up to their demands.Honestly, the complaints were usually more mechanics-oriented. Like, "Why can I set her age to 99? That's dumb."
And the answer is that I never wanted to set a specific age range, because that would imply that I was okay with someone potentially setting it at the lower end of said range. But like I said, I think it just makes more sense for the story to remove it and make the affected characters 18.

I kind of like how there's no clear majority on a favorite character. Just shows that each of them have a different quality to bring to the table.Don't forget me talking about my girl Nicki
Oh, I see... well, damn, that makes it seem even more silly to me. So not the moralist crusade, which is understandable to me, but the autist one, interesting; I didn't expect that lol. The answer for those people is clearly to set the age to a reasonable number, problem solved. But no worries, decision's made, I'll learn to live with itHonestly, the complaints were usually more mechanics-oriented. Like, "Why can I set her age to 99? That's dumb."

Okie dokie, no worriesI misunderstood, I thought you were saying he was removing the whole patch.
Agree It's one of those games where you feel emotionally connected to the charactersLove that game
Is this harem gameAgree It's one of those games where you feel emotionally connected to the characters
And that is my favourite type of game
At this point no, in the future maybe. MC is living the life with some of the LIs atm... good times i sayIs this harem game
The dev has said there will be basically a harem path but it might not include all the girlsIs this harem game
From what Neonghosts said there may be some polyamorous relationships in the future but don't think there will any harem route. Is this harem game
Lmfao another game hopped on the pain train starting many of its sentences with "I MEAN".
Every character sounds fcking retarded when STARTING sentences like that, it's fine when added into an already bound paragraph, yet its nails on a chalkboard to individuals that have this as a pet peeve.
Starting sentences with "I mean". "Yeah, no" "Because" is just irritating to read, when it appears too often, I tend to skip through the nightmare dialog, just relying on the renders...which is not why I download and play this, the story tends to capture my attention when it's not written as if someone desperately wants to be a teen again.
Pretty much.
We have to wait till January... I think.
She'll have a pretty important appearance in the update following this next one, where MC goes with her and Madison to bail out Madison's husband/Gabby's dad. That'll be out in August/September.We have to wait till January... I think.![]()
Ok. isn't that the one where she breaks up with us? If so, that doesn't count.I was a little curious to see how often "I mean" reoccurs in the script for the current content. The phrase appears 162 times, and the script currently includes 273,283 words. Some of those occurrences are in incidences like a character saying, "I meant --" From a cursory look, the phrase is primarily used by Ashe, whose speech pattern intentionally uses a lot of filler words, something which is actually lampshaded pretty heavily in the next update.
That said, I'll cop to the fact that I have certain tics that make their way into the writing. As I've mentioned before, producing this thing on a pretty tight schedule means I usually only get to write one draft, and then it's off to the races. I don't have time to fine-tune the dialogue and narration, so a lot of it's just written stream-of-consciousness style.

Also, Gabby was just in the last update! D:
