Just because you are playing the asshole route doesn't mean you have to go full asshole. There is that happy middle ground between being Gordon Gecko and being Patrick Bateman. People shouldn't be throwing shade at the Bad Guy players who want to rack up misdemeanors yet avoid felonies. Plus, even serial killers don't target every woman they meet. They need lots of people to say they were nice guys to the reporters when they get caught.

I had wondered about that. Could explain why he went silent for a week then suddenly blew up our phone all day. I wouldn't call that drama though, Brent getting in trouble with the loan shark without being able to throw Nicki under the bus again? I'd call that popcorn time.

Yeah, but that would be almost too easy. Brent isn't going to sit their and take his licks, own up to his extensive list of fuck ups. If he were capable of that, he wouldn't have forged Nicki's signature in the first place. If anything he most likely spilled the beans to the loan sharks, and perhaps they smell chum in the water? Perhaps they're leaning on Brent not just to get to Nicki, but explicitly to get to the MC?
He's a known quantity, a famous local philanthropist; they gotta know (or can easily find out) that he's got money. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if Brent is once again throwing others under the bus to save his own worthless ass. Now whether or not the loan sharks are in this merely for greed, or if one of them has a personal axe to grind with Nicki over the porno shoot falling apart, is anyone's guess (excluding NeonGhosts' I'm sure).

And omg, wouldn't it be soooo adorable if we could teach Mason how to drive I mean, that's just my own cute little head canon ofc, that he doesn't know how to drive "Breaks... Mason... MASON... THAT'S THE GAS MASON, BREAKS!" *Mason just barely comes to a full stop before faceplanting into the steering wheel in defeat* S-s-sorry S-S-Sir... *and then he looks at you with those doughy Burger-scarfing eyes*

What, you think they are going to try and come after MC? I really doubt that. Loan sharks prey on the weak and the vulnerable, not the richest men in the city. He could probably have them both killed if he wanted to, let alone just calling in some favours and burying them in legal trouble.

Maybe? But also, the MC has already demonstrated that he will drop cash to bail Nicki, and it wouldn't be hard for the sharks to learn that (especially if Brent is staying true to form). They can find out that he cares enough to at least give her 20K, and they know Nicki has demonstrated an ability to come up with large amounts of cash fast. Now they might not know the extent of her Florida escapade, and just assume that the MC was also bankrolling most of her bailout. Given that, if they can properly 'motivate' Nicki, they might think it well worth their time to try and leverage her against the MC. It might not be the smartest move to go after a person cared for by someone else with massive wealth, but it is the greedy and unscrupulous thing to do.
Plus, again, it could be some really good conflict and drama; something to drive the MC outside of waiting for people to come to him asking for help. It would also be a fun way to give the player choices in how they deal with the problem. I mean, don't you just kinda want to see what an 'absolute bastard' route would be for taking on some gangster loan sharks? The scenarios are there to be exploited. Some elaborate setup using Nicki plus some of the other girls as bait? Getting down and dirty with a rival underworld faction? Perhaps scoping them out and attacking them directly? I mean, what would an 'absolute bastard' MC do if they're breaking into the head loan shark's house and they come across his wife or daughter?
Not to be an ass, but wtf are you smoking? We've got enough drama as it is. My opinion of course. But I get it. A lot of people thrive on drama and bs in a game. I do enjoy some myself. But the keyword there is 'some'. I personally don't want over-the-top drama. But if the dev adds it in and it's written well, I'll keep playing it.
Another thing:
How is he waiting? He's actively trying to find people. Hence Mason and the girl at the diner.(Forgot her name)
But something I'm not a fan of is being forced to help bitches like "Brittani, with an 'i'!" I fuckin can't stand her. We needed a choice whether or not to deal with her.
That's awesome. Not so awesome for me. Only girl I actually like right now is Gabby. I like Nikki as a friend. She causes way too many problems for my taste. Viola(Funny name for a Russian girl by the way) is also ok. Just a bit too timid right now.

He stumbled upon Mason. Pepper happened to be his waitress. He wasn't actively seeking either, he wasn't driven to find them, he just sort of walked into their live by chance. It's not necessarily a bad way to do things narratively, but it does lack motivation.
Cue NeonGhosts making a second joke patch to cut all Brittani content from the game for one update.

Nikki used to be my favorite, but she plays way too many head games. So, I'm glad I can avoid getting into a relationship with her. I'd like to see that same option with the other girls. Not some dumb joke mod.

I see them once in a while, but our interactions are minimal. Only Nikki holds my attention. If you don't want them trying to have a relationship with you, don.t do stuff to them that causes them to think you want a relationship with them. Ignore them as much as possible.
I already know that. Nikki was forced at the start, so we did stuff with her. Now we can avoid that stuff with her and any others. Nikki has been friendzoned in my game. You don't have to get it. It is what it is. I'm good with who I chose.
