When you get shown this, and you don't get it, it's definitely a disappointment. Also nothing with Gabby unless you go the abuser route. Glad you enjoyed it though.
Some people impossible to please, wcyd? I'm going to wait until public release so bugs and stuff get ironed out. Very excited to play then, though I spoiled myself like a dope with a few comments haha

Sorry to disappoint! The cover images aren't usually super literal. More like bonus art for subscribers. But, I get the disappointment. Still, you do get to see Mason in skimpy lingerie, so that's something.
As for Gabby, I'd tried to temper people's expectations for her content a bit. The goal with her light/friend path was really to address the rift in her relationship with the player, setting up more spicy content for her in Chapter 11.
Since I'm already having people ask, the plan for the next few updates is:
- Chapter 1 Reboot: New art, and a platonic choice for Nicki. Basically just expands on the initial version of Chapter 1.
- Chapter 11: Lots of Gabby content, a little Risa content around the Lucien/Cherry plotline (if you're on it), Viola's first maid shift, and a meeting with Ashe and the director of Brittani's movie.
- Chapter 12: Brittani's audition.
I'm intentionally aiming kind of small for the first draft of Chapter 11. That way, if it begins to balloon (as my updates tend to..) it's only ballooning from like 700-800 renders to 1100-1200. Then, Chapter 12 will be my first experiment with a mini-chapter, to see how it's received.
Haven't played this update yet but as Mason fan the fact that it's lackluster is super disappointing.

When I redo Chapter 1? Yeah, you’ll have to. I’m going to be reorganizing a bunch of the variables and such. Anyone who’s looked at the script knows that my code is an utter mess. So, I’m redoing it, and using the reboot as an opportunity to fix some things.
Another commenter had asked about stuff like implementing some of my ideas for an energy point system during Ashe’s date. That’ll be done when I reboot. And I’ll be expanding some ero scenes that I’d previously short-changed due to time constraints. I also want to add an option in Ashe and Gabby’s early events, to better facilitate the light corruption path I want to make for the characters.
So yeah, it’ll be necessary to restart your game at that point, but for now I’d just recommend playing the update, and dealing with the future once it gets here.

It really isn't. He takes up most of the lewd scenes, and they are really great.

I'm not saying he's wrong to be disappointed. Anybody can feel however they want to feel, whatever.
But the chapter was like... half Mason content, and it was damn good.
Nope. No idea what he's going on about.
There are some dark paths that can result in the girls exiting from the story, at least for now. But that all happened in earlier chapters, not this one, so if you've played those earlier chapters, you already know what's up.
And this chapter has dark path content, so I dunno what frozztie is on about. Granted, it might be easy to miss if you're not set up to see it for Gabby or Mason, since they're the main focuses of the chapter, but that's nothing to do with the game "not having it". It definitely still has dark content, lol

If chapter one is being redone then it is a waste to continue playing since you have to start over am I correct.

I can't tell you how to spend your time.
But, my philosophy would be to play what's available, and then once Chapter One is redone, just Ctrl+Skip through it until you arrive at some content you haven't seen. FiN is pretty long at this point, but I can still skip through the whole thing in under ten minutes.
