Oh praise Satan, this is music to my ears. I was just minutes ago bemoaning how so many of the games with the hottest girls have too many guns and shit getting in the way of the actual good stuff. Blackheart is the only one who I think manages to do it well.
If anything that seems like something that could be kind of a quick montage for a "bad ending" scenario. Just a few shots of girls testifying and the MC in jail, then some message about how you done fucked up, but not really a plot event in the game proper.
Finally, I have to get this off my chest: every time I think of this game I get that Placebo song stuck in my head.

Great game. It's really, really good.
I was about to dismiss it for some reason once I started playing it, but I got hooked on it rapidly after this ridiculous thought of mine. I'm actually surprised that there's some actual depth to the characters and events throughout the chapters despite the rape tag.
In my experience, until now at least, the games with these tags always turn out to be a mindless experience, and that's just not my cup of tea.
So, I'm happy that it's not the case here, even if I'm not assaulting anyone when give the choice. The 'normal ' content is great.

And most of them are exactly as you say... just mindless, shallow bs... so I was kinda expecting the same with this one. But, of course, as I found out, this one was a gem Very erotic patch content indeed.The characters have so much depth, though, that I realized why I avoid "romance" in most games... the LIs and the writing are just not good enough to keep my attention much less my erection.. that's sorta-kinda why I even started searching 'rape' tags here to begin with, it's the typical porno-fetish-escalator-to-hell where you get bored with stuff and need something different that will 'shock' you or w/e. The hate isn't because she's a bad character, it's because she made choices that make it look like she's using the MC for his money and even when coming back begging for help she friend zoned him.
She IS a great character but her choices have made her polarising. She's probably one of the better written characters i've seen in an adult game but she's still Marmite, you'll either love her or hate her.
I would even say the fact that she's so polarizing as a person proves that she's a very good character, since she's complex enough that people can reasonably have different interpretations of/reactions to her actions and motivations.
Personally, I feel my relationship with her is highly transactional, because she made it that way, but I don't hate her, or even dislike her. I just don't feel any special care for her either.
You might say I'm a well-wisher in that I don't wish her any particular harm.

If you treat her well there are a couple of scenes in which we can see that she has feelings for Guy. She's afraid of getting hurt again, that's why she wants the relationship to be fuck buddies for now. That way we (the players) have free space to pursue other girls without making the MC a douchebag if we don't want.

My take on Nikki? She's probably the only girl in the game that Guy truly loves, and yet if he chooses her it will destroy him. We all kind of know that deep down. We all have had a person in our life who wasn't any good for us no matter how much we loved them. Nikki has a lot of good qualities and a lot of bad qualities, which is what makes her feel real. But both those sets of qualities are what made the story happen. She set our Guy on a really weird path that he wouldn't be anywhere near without her. We aren't far enough down that path to know if it is a good thing or a bad thing that she did. But she already broke his heart and probably can't help but to continue to do so.
