At the outset of this project I had two hard-and-fast rules that I swore I'd stick to: no organized crime stuff, and no sci-fi. These are kind of specific, but I feel like anytime I've seen a game I like derailed, it's been due to one of these elements. So, I use them as short-hand to remind myself to keep things relatively grounded.
The only reason I'm tempted to include it, is because I see it as being a one-off event that can really slot into any chapter, and only in one of Ashe's paths. So, it'll be more of a treat for people who want to friend-zone Ashe, and won't need to affect much of the broader story. Still, I get where you're coming from. If it happens, it won't be for a bit. Brittani, Gabby, and Viola are up next for content, so any Ashe stuff is probably a couple chapters away.
I'm glad the girls come across as fairly multi-dimensional. I usually use someone from my life as a starting point for each character, add in a dash of fiction, and find some social issue that I'd like to address through them.Tbh why I like this game:
It's a game "Oh, I met that type of girl" or "I dated girl with similar situation, ended bad"
Not a game "Ah, that's 2 slut types, shy type, milf with bad husband type, damsel in distress type..."

What about MCs who aren't uhh... *ahem* the "nicest" to Ashe? Say she doesn't like us very much because of this one night where absolutely nothing happened. You think her mom would be game still? Asking for a friend in need.

Oh praise Satan, this is music to my ears. I was just minutes ago bemoaning how so many of the games with the hottest girls have too many guns and shit getting in the way of the actual good stuff. Blackheart is the only one who I think manages to do it well.
If anything that seems like something that could be kind of a quick montage for a "bad ending" scenario. Just a few shots of girls testifying and the MC in jail, then some message about how you done fucked up, but not really a plot event in the game proper.

Yeah, same here man. I know it's fucked up to a lot of people and no one asked lol, but I found this game specifically searching 'rape' tags. They're not super common as you can imagineGreat game. It's really, really good.
I was about to dismiss it for some reason once I started playing it, but I got hooked on it rapidly after this ridiculous thought of mine. I'm actually surprised that there's some actual depth to the characters and events throughout the chapters despite the rape tag.
In my experience, until now at least, the games with these tags always turn out to be a mindless experience, and that's just not my cup of tea.
So, I'm happy that it's not the case here, even if I'm not assaulting anyone when give the choice. The 'normal ' content is great.

EDIT: By the way, I really don't understand the visceral Nicki hate, I was expecting something horrendous out of her when I stumbled into this thread and saw the extra options. She's a good character, but hey, that's just me.

And most of them are exactly as you say... just mindless, shallow bs... so I was kinda expecting the same with this one. But, of course, as I found out, this one was a gem Very erotic patch content indeed., but this game (along with LomL & BoB) kinda rekindled my interest in wholesome romance content.

The hate isn't because she's a bad character, it's because she made choices that make it look like she's using the MC for his money and even when coming back begging for help she friend zoned him.
I just thought that the "remove Nick from the game" patch was a bit tad overdramaticI would even say the fact that she's so polarizing as a person proves that she's a very good character, since she's complex enough that people can reasonably have different interpretations of/reactions to her actions and motivations.
Personally, I feel my relationship with her is highly transactional, because she made it that way, but I don't hate her, or even dislike her. I just don't feel any special care for her either.
You might say I'm a well-wisher in that I don't wish her any particular harm.
