Well, some of you can give the old "that's just piracy on the internet" thing, which is true, we can't really control what others do aside from ourselves.. but I think it's fair to give devs their lines. We're getting their work
for free, which is already pushing on nerves and something I personally have never felt great about, and yet some are even kind enough to give their limited support and let us pick their brain a little. I hope more of my fellow poors/free-riders concede
some principle about it, for good of all, hmm?
Yep. Sorry, but basically if you don't have the patch enabled when you start a game, important variables and scripts aren't set in place, and enabling after the fact doesn't fix anything.
Technically, you could enable the patch in your save with URM, but.. in your 'vanilla' playthrough, you wouldn't have encountered or been able to choose any patch-quarantined content anyways, which some later dark choices/routes require. You would end up needing to fiddle with many other variables in the end. Plus, it could easily break things going forward.
It'd just be a pain in the ass for you, trust me.. far easier to start a new game. Can skip through previously read stuff and find your place again in less than 15 mins probably.
