tbh I always thought the love path is fine for Nicki , Risa and Ashe. I can't speak for Mason or Gabby I don't play those paths. For me the only ones that need some love is basically the other girls I didn't mention.

Jokes apart, you are doing a great job by keeping the sex scenes organic to the story, earned, well placed and logic.

I personally don't like those games where like "ok, this and this is happening but let's stop the plot for a totally random sex scene with an equally random girl".

I mean VN are meant to have good plots, and your has it, ortherwise, there is all the porn one wants around the internet without clicking for hours :D

Also, there is a reason so much 'story' porn uses darker elements. If you have five minutes to set up a story which is meant to lead to sex, the easiest route there is through duplicity, coercion, etc.
  • "Well, I don't have any modeling work for you, but if you were interested, I have another type of work available.."
  • "Well, I have you on camera shoplifting, so unless you want me to call the police.."
  • "Well, I know we just met, but let's fuck and watch as this blossoms into a beautiful relationship.."
One of these things is not like the other. Moreover, if I do have a girl immediately fuck the player, or come on super strong, she tends to get a poor reaction/slut-shamed/not viewed as 'relationship material.' Everyone has their own standards, of course. But, I've said it before: Gabby would have gotten sex content wayyyyy back in Chapter 2, if several people didn't spook me with their reactions to Nicki's scenes in Chapter 1. There was a real vibe of, "We've already done everything with Nicki, so I guess her story's over.."

In my experience there are two kinds of AVNs - there's porn with a story (which is 95% of what's on this site) - where you get to use porn logic. Every woman you meet is into you because you exist and is fine with being monogamous while you fuck everything that moves etc or there's a story with porn, where the focus is on the story and the women act like people and you have to work for everything a bit more. In some cases the porn isn't even the point of the story, the "love scenes" just happen to be more frequent and explicit than they would be in a regular VN (or book or movie etc). Personally I'm only really interested in the latter, though there are a few porn with a story games I like (but only if they don't take themselves very seriously.)

p.s. Love the Letterkenny reference. Not a lot of people know that show.

I do want to start a family with Nicki but that'll probable be near the very end of the game if the option for that comes up.

I'm fine with getting early start on that. My Guy has laid down the groundwork, so to speak. :whistle::coffee:

edit: wait, actually no, i forgot. I opted for a mouth finish because ending inside without any warning was too much of a dick move. Oh well, no early baby for me.

wouldn't it be more accurate it's Brents baby and she shows up to Joshy92 and he helps raise the kid as his own

Don't even start with 'its realistic', nothing is realistic about serial rapist Guy. He is no Weinstein, or Cosby grooming people into an industry, he is just some random new guy with money showing up in the girls life. Realistically he wouldn't get away with 5% of what he is doing, before getting caught in the era of metoo, social media, smartphones and livestreaming.

I do wanna say that the dark route definitely seems very plausible to me, but the truth is.. wtf do I know? So I'll just pivot to this: I've praised the game for being realistic, but I think a better way to put it is that it's very believable within its own story and setting. I mean, really, that's all an author has to do.

And for romance routes being slower, I think it's sweet, and in a proper playthrough when the game is much further along or finished or what not, it will pace really well actually and feel nice for the player. There are so, so many games out there where the 'romance' feels like padding or afterthought or is just very dull.

Agreed, it usually feels silly and awkward. I do like the Dash scenes, though, I think they fit great and offer a little break and make the world feel bigger without the downsides you mention. What about you? It's also a choice of multiple, so I guess that changes things.

Friends, is there any ntr, sharing etc. in this game? I saw a photographer taking pictures of girls in the pictures, can this be completely prevented? (I browsed a little bit in the search section but I didn't understand much)

MC can come to posses some explicit pictures from his girls from before their relationship and there are girls, who are not LIs, who are seen in action with different men.
Some of this content is not avoidable but it so very doesn't qualify as NTR.
The closest thing which, by extremely far, is considerable NTR is one of the LIs who is initially in a relationship with a different guy and sleeps with MC (avoidable) before the relationship is over. That was kinda controversial in the past, but the whole sequence is under reworks and it might change significantly in future releases.
