Well, good sir, I hope you will calm down. I want to point you one detail that is missed in your speech. You say "Novels and films don't get reworked AFTER they're published for the audience to see en masse". But what does "published" means? Is it showing content to anyone on Internet, or is finishing the story completely and then demonstrating it to others as such? I always thought it's the second. Otherwise demos make no sense. Usually they are changed a lot.
The first one, that's what published would be counted as legally. And demos have nothing to do with it, they can be either paid or free, but they're just supposed to be a contained demonstration of what the full product might entail, they're not supposed to be things that get released over and over as if they were episodes.
So could be a story be already officially published when it's not even completed?
I literally just gave you an example of one, G.R.R Martin's book series.

Serialized literature has existed since the 17th Century and allowed authors great flexibility to experiment with structure and narrative. Some of them made revisions as needed or major changes as desired. This medium is unique in a lot of ways, no iron laws in this universe.

But it is understandably frustrating to love something and then feel frustrated that the wait time for more is being made longer to redo something you already thought was more than great. Easily one of the most relatable parts of this site, and it happens to all of us. But that's life, and there is no excuse to be rude. Most developers are pretty chill about gripes, but it's the developers' passion projects, and whatever keeps them doing *something* is better than nothing. Plus, stuff people are planning to sell is much different than more hobbyish projects, and it's unfair to hate on someone steadily grinding away on their project, trying to get the bag.

This shit is great though and I look forward to each release. The patch is an empty file for me as well.

Honestly I just think we should all be really impressed that I completely remade a few thousand images worth of content in only a month. I mean, it took me four months to redo Chapter 1, which was much smaller in scope.

To do the entirety of Chapters 2 and 3 in thirty days? I mean, c’mon. Big round of applause for this guy, amirite??
No. Applause is something people give to movie movies nowadays. You deserve better.

This game is one of the bests I've ever played, but I just discovered the remastered Episode 1 and Wow !! It's a new game in itself, much more realistic and explaining a lot of the psychology of the character.
I begin from scratch for the third time but without complaining, because I'm enjoying each new frame and each new fork.
Congratulations 7767 !

So we reached a "remake" stage of development. Oh well.

I wonder how many chapters are going to be remade before catching up with the latest chapters. I guess the latest version is the one with chapter 1-7, and chapters 1-11 is at EOL?

So far there's really only one girl Guy can have "official" relationship with, and it doesn't prevent him from lovingly fucking others even if he does.
And there's some possibility that the protagonist after lovingly doing the horizontal tango with some of the ladies might end up becoming a father or something like that. I wonder if that'll be a thing way into the future (if one remembers the chat he had with Carolina as she helped him covering his black eye after he unintentionally scared Maya). Such thing is ultimately a decision Neon is going to take.

I for one am not a fan of the re-make. I liked the story of how money corrupts, and the length women will put up with to have access to it. It's like a safe for TV garbage now, taking out everything that separated this game from the rest of the trash heap. Shame to see the Dev sold out, but not surprising...I don't think there is a single dev left with a backbone not made up of wet noodles.

Sorry, I had my backbone surgically replaced with a soggy baguette. I have to wear a special brace now. The doctors said I'm a modern miracle, but if I remove it I'll die.

Is that what you want, Jstforme? My gluten-heavy blood on your hands????
