With Gabbi and Britanni you could probably make it happen, and with Nicki but I don't think Guy has a lot of leverage on Alex.

Ah, both of those are some of the most popular hopes for the game, especially Nicki and Alex!!!!!!!! Though I'm a little more partial to Gabby and Viola.

I can't prove it, it's just a hunch at this point, but I suspect Lucian may work for Risa's father - whether he knows it or not- he would have way more use for all the blackmail tapes than Lucian would.

Also i did like the remake the smal ldifference of Gabbys mom inviting over the MC instead of him weirdly inviting himself made it a lot more cohesive. I also appreciated the build of with Gabby. The story has changed tone in a good way. in the OG if youre dark path you're pretty much a shitty person from the get go and the moneyj ust lets you act out those rapey fantasies. In the new version it's more like a morally grey person who lets power and wealth corrupt them slight change but important.

Also having read the side stories now is Viola gay or bi? her dark path is too much but i would like a full service russian maid haha

The people that are truly in power don't care about morals, ethics & conscience. Look at our world, the wealthy, powerful & influential, they and their children are allowed to be colossal fuck ups, be a disaster of a human being and destroy the lives of the common people so long as their empire is not threatened. Money and influence is there to cover up scandals and more. In the Rhodenbarr's case, her father doesn't care if she is a fucked up human, she can be involved in all the vices she wants, he only cares that she is prepared and capable enough to inherit his legacy and run his empire when he's gone.

Lucian knows the bottomline of the Rhodenbarrs. He is not stupid. Blackmails won't work on the Rhodenbarrs. He knows not to challenge the Rhodenbarrs. In the world of criminals, you have the dumb and petty criminals that think a simple game of blackmail can move them up the world but they will forever stay as bottom feeders or end up dead in the alley. And then you have real criminal organizations that knows how the world works and run their organization like a business empire. Lucian is aware of this, he knows where he is currently sitting in the hierarchy and he is smart. At worse, he'll target Guy, but he'll leave the Rhodenbarrs alone. He knows who not to antagonize, as long as he does that, the Rhodenbarrs will leave him alone too.

I mean, not really jarring per se because Risa isn't aware of this side of Guy at that point. Dark Guy can actually get along swimmingly with Lucian.
