Yeah, you're given a few opportunities to be a creep early on. Honestly, I kinda see how some might see the dark route or even the corruption route to some extent as feeling at odds with the Guy that we're presented. But, keep in mind that we're only given brief glimpses into his thoughts, and there's a lot of room for his behavior to be interpreted differently from how it seems at face value. Haven't we all seen firsthand someone do a complete 180 on how they presented themselves? Hell, I've done the same to others... we all wear masks at one time or another.

So, just imagine that the Guy you're playing is a pseudo-first-person PC, and you can't necessarily read his motives for every action.

You don't even need much of an excuse. Money changes people. For poor people there's a strong incentive to be liked, to have friends, to get along with your neighbors, and generally to be thought of as a good person. If you get into trouble, the only thing that will save you is the people who care about you.

For the most part, laws are made by wealthy people and enforced on poor people with the police trying to keep the middle class insulated from it all.

When you're wealthy, you may want to be liked but you can mostly buy that through PR firms and philanthropy. There are far fewer rules for wealthy people (unless you're hurting other wealthy people) and those that do exist are much less rigorously enforced. If you do happen to get into trouble you can bring in expensive lawyers and crisis management teams.

So the kind of person Guy was when he was poor doesn't necessarily translate into who he is as a wealthy person.

Sounds like it is going to be next month, as Neon is trying to get out a stand alone version of episode 11 for subscribers by the end of the month. He's too busy working on new material to finish the remaster; a concept which should make certain heads around here spin around on their necks.

It's all good. I'm not worried about Neon's productivity. I was looking at my F95 checker today and there is a growing list of things that haven't updated in 10 months or more.

I know. He also mentioned making some changes in chapter 10. :)
