I've only heard ravage not ravish in the context of rape before today. Ravish I've only heard in the sense of consensual love making or looking "ravishing darling".Yeah but I never see anyone use Ravish in that context, hell to be honest I never see or hear anyone use the word ever unless it's in the form of dirty talk.

Agreed, that's how I'd differentiate ravage and ravish. Hence why I was surprised to see any rapey connotations for ravish.

Ravishment as a fetish is a weird concept where the recipient prefers sex that is not consensual but wants to demonstrate token resistance and struggle before breathlessly surrendering. It is really common in romance novels with busty women having their blouses suspiciously falling open while swooning in the arms of some guy in a kilt. It is sometimes called rape fantasy but it isn't exactly that. In any case, I don't think that Mason in particular would be into it because it does involve some roughhousing and he is a victim of violent trauma.
