Yup I'm curious if the mc will still have a one sided attraction in the beginning or will they be best friends only. I'm personally not sure which version of their relationship I prefer between romance and bff.

If we are still talking about this I believe that giving the player the power to decide what kind of guy that Guy will be and what he will be into is the secret sauce to make this VN better than the average VN. It is of value to discern certain characteristics that he possesses in all of the branches but those should be guide rails, not handcuffs. If it doesn't fit in your headcanon, don't play that path. For example, I would never do the paths where he assaults Viola or drugs Ashe but I'm not going to say that those paths shouldn't exist. The player is the one deciding that our hero is that depraved. So if the player decides that their Guy needs some tender loving care with a riding crop from Pepper don't think that is out of bounds.

you know while im with you id never play those paths assaulting or drugging Ashe / Viola at least while watching those scenes. I do like to play through the dark path once to read the dialogue and ctrl skip through the actual assaults parts, as I want to see all the context and see guy have some consequences down the road.
It did make me kind of want to do a Dark path Ashe run because if you assault her in the Alley , then drug her you have the option to only sleep next to her without doing anything else to her. Then if you tell her you didn't have sex with her and only slept next to her reaction as she is about to leave, to me gives off a vibe like it could open some kind of redemption path for Guy. Granted there is nothing that he could do that will truly redeem him for assaulting her in the alley. But it is interesting enough for me as someone who doesnt like the dark path to want to play it on the chance it does open up a redemption path.
Things like this is what makes this AVN so good and unique compared to others out there.

I can see that as well honestly it boils down to how we interpret things since alot of things in AVN's really boils down to our own interpretation. tho im hoping for a redemption path personally.
