i didn't play Dark Path initially cuz i didn't know there was a patch
but im curious about something. Above I read that in Dark Patch Nikki is leaving? Is that a future plan or has Nikki left already in Chapter 8?
Can I also ask what was the reason Nikki leave on Dark Path?

She already leaves only if you take the dark path option when she is babysitting not sure if the other dark options matter for her leaving or just that one.
hello guys, recently started the game however i realised there is a small problem using the Taboo patch as it doesn't seem to work? i used the mega download link (not the vanilla) the patch is indeed turned on but there doesn't see to have real difference, i can see using Renpy universal console that there is a lot of dialogue options related to the patch present but the actual patch content isn't there at all even when looking in the game files.

It's not just "the dark path", most girls have two, one corruption blackmail or bribery, and one assault and rape. If you go all-in on being a total bastard to Nikki, raping her roughly and being a total jerk to her in conversation, she just disappears one day. If you're just a bit of a dick to her she takes it in stride. It's not yet clear if her leaving is permanent or not, since it is suggested that he wants to get her back, and as she is such a central character in his main business it would be a major branching event for her to have actually left for good. (That's a bit meta of me, but as a programmer I can't help but think about these kinds of things) It wouldn't surprise me if either she gets into trouble again and comes back to him again, or he uses his resources to find her and forces her to return somehow.

no cause if you do the dark path option when she is babysitting you do when a kid is a around ( in another room) at least as far as I can remember, and that's her last straw and it's to far for her. now with that being said I don't know if the dark path when she is babysitting will always trigger in her leaving like it does with Viola or if it only happens if you have been rough , assaulted / raped her in the past.

I do that in my dreams every night along with a few other select LI that I think about too much lol. Also when in the shower I imagine myself being with some of these LI and Nicki comes to my mind often

Messing with Nikki as dark guy was a lot of fun, especially making her do that shoot with Brittani. Shame her dark route ended so early. I can't say I care much for her good guy route. She doesn't feel like girlfriend material. She's that girl you keep at arms length and occasionally hook up with
