Nah, most people agree that 21 is the magical number for adult stuff. This has been an argument for a very, very long time, nothing I'm saying is unusual. For example, I think certain military stuff should be 21 as well. Problem is every nation in the world right now is struggling with demographics, especially military, so that'll probably never happen in America for example. But sex work (porn star etc.) could easily fit in, I'd bet most citizens would vote for that. I've heard multiple porn stars say as much.

I don't know what people in the future will think.. maybe they'll up it, the whole "brain isn't done developing until 25" argument.. which while true, I think is pretty ridiculous to settle on. But hey, this kinda stuff is always evolving over time, just gotta trust future generations to make the right decision. All I can say is that right now in current times, most everyone agrees 21 is a great age to land on.

The brain being fully developed by the mid, to late, 20s is based in the realm of science with all the medical evidence backed up. So much so it is stated on the National Institute of Mental Health's website. A subsect of NiH. Which is all a component of the department of Health and Human Services.

Basically, especially in the USA, you don't get much more legit than that.

We're just talking, nothing to apologize for tbh. But I get your points, though. I'm not really a self-righteous person about this kinda stuff. I just think it's better overall if an 18 year-old has 3 years to consider if they really want the whole world to watch them fuck, and if they really want to work for some of these porn companies that many times eat women and spit them back out again. This is porn that I've watched before, sometimes feeling guilty afterwards depending. So, again, I'm not self-righteous about it, just trying to consider what's best for the women and the industry incentives as a whole.

It's still coming. I just really wanted to get through this next chapter before I switched my focus to moving backwards. The next chapter provides resolution to a few outstanding plot threads, so it feels like a good spot to take a breath, and let people digest.

In retrospect, I probably could've used the chapter with Ashe's date as a good temporary stopping point. But, what's done is done!
