Dev Update! 6/16/25
Hey, friends! Hope your week's off to a great start. My little corner of the world's been hit with some torrential rain, which has led to a bit of flooding and property damage around the city. Fortunately my place is at a bit of an elevation, so I've been spared -- knock on wood. Hope everyone's staying safe out there!
I spent the weekend rendering some stuff for Chapter 2, redoing Ashe's introductory scene a bit. I kept 95% of the dialogue, but touched up the art for the first bit of the scene. I wanted to make the scene feel a bit more crowded with people -- a skill that I lacked in the early days of working on this project, and I hope it helps make the whole thing feel more alive.
With that complete, I think I'm finished with the art I needed for Chapter 2. Now I need to finish redoing a bit in Chapter 4, where platonic friend-path Nicki wears a bathing suit while enjoying Guy's jacuzzi. Shouldn't be too annoying.
Besides that, work on Chapter 11 continues apace. I took some time to do some more renders for the scene where Nicki meets Cassie, and I'm hoping to finish that within the next week or so.
All in all, things are proceeding pretty well! I'll be happy when my focus is no longer divided in a few directions, but for now I feel like I'm doing a decent job of keeping all the balls in the air.

When I've got some downtime I'd like to compile all the the bonus art from the blogs (and stuff from Dicord, etc.) into a file, and make it available. Right now that stuff's just a bit scattered and unorganized on my PC, and it'd be a little annoying to mess with it.

*Just played and no rape scene for Niccky at the start, so yeah, dark content may be removed. No garantees dev will bring it back. Also by the size of the update and the frequency, we'll need at least 3 years to catch up the story. So I'll keep my vision: Remakes are just for milking

The remake is just Ch1. Neon has almost finished integrating it with the rest of the chapters and a new update is coming soon (which you'd know from just a quick browse).

That might be your problem. You need the Subscribe Star version Friends in Need, or the patch for the extra dark shit. Or at least it used to work like that.
