Sooner or later, someone comes and asks for the game turning into a harem fantasy out of the blue no matter what the storyline is.I was more asking because I was confused at someone complaining about the lack of a harem route when we are nowhere near having to choose between any of the LIs. I thought there might be some stuff like that on the love paths but from your reply it seems not.
Yes, how could the storyline of a guy coming into a bunch of money and meeting a bunch of girls possibly be confused with a harem game? That doesn't sound like a harem game at all. Just look at this splash image, how could anyone possibly look at that and think that it looks like a harem game?Sooner or later, someone comes and asks for the game turning into a harem fantasy out of the blue no matter what the storyline is.
It's every F95 game thread's destiny. Same with incest dudes: they come, they stir the pot and then they start pouting when someone points out that their obsession doesn't fit in at all.
And it fits a Harem theme really well. Now, the Devs doesnt want to, and its his right to do so, as it is our right to give our feedback about it in this forumIMHO, the story's about exploiting / not exploiting MC's female friends "in need". You can help and befriend them, you can exploit them, you can become their sex friend, you can become their lover.
This is what's the game's about. The whole point of it, I think.
Ohhhh dear oh dear oh dear.....And it fits a Harem theme really well. Now, the Devs doesnt want to, and its his right to do so, as it is our right to give our feedback about it in this forum
He can do whatever he wants with that feedback

Right. It's not like this is a story about one guy and one girl and people are pushing for him to bang the random girls he meets along the way, that is indeed stupid. But here, we've got a bunch of girls who are either already love interests or are strongly telegraphed as becoming them. For someone to say that that wouldn't work as a harem game... Well. That's equally stupid IMO.And it fits a Harem theme really well. Now, the Devs doesnt want to, and its his right to do so, as it is our right to give our feedback about it in this forum

Will share my own opinion if you don't mind! And I fully agree. Harems usually are heavily centralized on the MC and his story, and new partners are added as part of his own journey towards a vague objective. They revolve around the MC, and their stories must have an intersection (and be solved by) the MC's.Thanks for taking the time to give your input. The harem subject actually came up recently on my Discord. Though it wasn't a lot of people chiming in, those that did basically agreed that my plan to stick to throuple/poly relationships with select girls is a decent compromise between single love interests, and a harem. And I still plan to have a possible 'corruption' harem, where you basically just have all the girls as sugar-babies/FWB with no expectation of commitment. But, I stand by my assertion that a full love harem just wouldn't fit the world/characters I've built thus far.
It almost certainly wouldn't be more succesful. It'd be a schizo mess, full of plot holes and contradictions. You can't please everyone. All authors should listen and absorb criticism, specially constructive one, but don't sacrfice your vision for it, or else you will get something that pleases nobody. To speak broadly to the subject of what people are looking for in these games.. I don't/can't really concern myself with that. If I only listened to the loudest voices/critics, the game would look wildly different. Maybe it'd even be more successful! But, it wouldn't be mine.
Usually this means they have a lot of personality or at least, a lot of character, which means they either hit it off with someone or didn't. The good but bland doesn't awaken strong emotions either way. So I'd take it with a badge of honor.Curiously, I've found that the most controversial/divisive elements of FiN, are the ones where I gain my most ardent supporters. Nicki, Gabby, Mason.. These three get so much hate, but they also tend to be some of the most beloved characters in the game. So, I'm going to keep going down the path I've set up, and I think that for people who are aligned with my sensibilities, it'll be a fun ride. For those that aren't? Less so, but still pretty good.
It's that for me but also, almost every game has the LIs get sad if MC doesn't pursue the, and ad stupid and overly sensative as it is that makes me feel sad irl. And since these are games for enjoyment I prefer to not feel that way, so I almost exclusively play harem games unless, as is the case here the writing is just too damn good. I was originally suckered in though by the banner art and mistakenly thought it was a harem.Which is why I never understood why some people only play harems unless they don't got much time and want to min max all the content in 1 playthrough.
That isn't even remotely true. Harems are usually focused on the girls and their problems, and how the MC can help them with them. Hey, that sounds awful familiar! Will share my own opinion if you don't mind! And I fully agree. Which is not what FiN is about at all imo. This is a work of internal introspection and consequences of your choices, and how you decide to interfere in others' journeys. Everyone has their own, and you're not the end be it all of it. Making it a harem would also, more importantly, completely disturb the delicate balance between the characters, forcing interactions that would be hard to wave away and keep them in game.
There are plenty of examples that prove this wrong, but i can tell you one that comes to mind first, which is Chasing SunsetsWill share my own opinion if you don't mind! And I fully agree. Loving harems, in general, don't make a lot of sense. Dominating several women into that kind of relationship happens in real life a lot.Harems don't make any sense but if the dev wants to write some fantasy anything goes. But that's not the case here, Neon wants to make a somehow realistic story. So forget about Harems or fucking your mom![]()
Unless you're a pimp dealing with hookers or from some community that allow that type of thing, no, Harems don't happen all the time in the West. Same goes for incest, you must be from some backward community in the middle of nowhere to see that kind of shit.Loving harems, in general, don't make a lot of sense.
