Turns out random crimes are the ones least likely to be solved. I mean, most crime go unsolved in the united states (for real, look it up, it's hilariously bad). But specifically the ones that do are ones where there's a clear and immediate path between criminal and victim like spousal murder or family abduction. The ones that are really random like "just walked into a store and raped the cashier" unless he's made it a specific pattern as a serial cashier rapist, super unlikely to get caught. Top it off with the best lawyers (shady or legit) money can buy? MC has all the power, and opportunity, to get away with it all. The only hurdle I see that's real or rather the only 'consequence' that I saw in my brief looks into the dark path is that there are times MC looks like he's going insane. The dialogue i mean, the way he's talking to himself sounds like it's a statement that you'd only do these things if you were really crazy, and if you're this crazy, who the fuck knows where you're ending up.
But I don't know. I'm not the author, just some random person online who is compelled to consume this story for all it's worth, even if parts of it aren't to my taste.

The Conan part it is a joke, the rest not so much tbh because of the quote below. It isn't realistic to have that many LIs irl either, so why have repercussions.

i'll copy and paste what I wrote earlier on why I think repercussions is a good thing.
I think consequences are an important aspect if there is going to be choices you can make. As it adds replayability and depth to the game. Not to mention consequences opens up the door for better story telling. Sure they don't always need to be realistic to a T but having some realism helps with telling a believable story. Which is why id be disappointed if there is none for playing the dark path but we know Nicki and Viloa leave if you do dark path actions to them so there is already consequences in the game.
Basically I think there needs to be a balance between fun / fantasy and realism when it comes to consequences. But there should 100% be some consequences for some choices that feels like it would make sense even if it isn't something that is "evil or dark path related"
Just my 2 cents. Tho I would add I think it matters more for an ending in the case of this game and not as you play at least when it comes to the dark path. Cause if the consequences are just all the LI leave no 1 wants that either.
Especially as most sexual assault and rape cases are "Word against Word" and that makes any investigation against it extremely tough. With how rich he is portrayed and as a respected member of the community, the way the MC handles himself in the Dark Paths is probably very realistic. As horrible as that sounds.
To be fair, though, I don't know how the MC changes. I check out the darker paths and then reload a save.

I saw the sneak preview about Pepper.
Her storyline sounds really interesting.
Although I would tell her the same thing I told Brittani before
She doesn't have to pretend to be someone else with me.
I like her for who she is.
Also, dude you have made it so hard to choose a girl in this game and I love that.
Friends in Need has one of the best cast of characters in any game I have ever played.
Don’t worry, Brittani will get plenty of “acting” experience in my path. After all she wants to be a big star.

I disagree. I think a degree of realism immensely adds to a fantasy. That's why GRRM, just as an example, is such a compelling fantasy writer. His story has about the same boundaries as our own world, and the consequences match that. Even Tolkien had to set believable rules and then follow them. That's what's so engrossing, and, for a porn game, titillating, is it has a certain realistic ruleset to it, and so the choices actually feel like they matter a lot; and then they actually do.
So, as long as MC has degrees of freedom to live out our fantasy in any given scene, the story and its ending as a whole being realistic is actually cathartic imo and is going to give the story that much more depth in the end, even if our powerplay fantasy comes crashing down. And anyways, I'm going to throw my dice here and gamble that Neon will have at least one evil ending where MC can get away with a lot of things if not everything as long as he plays it smart. Because it's believable
after all the debate about realism and consequences, NeonGhosts is gonna totally blindside everyone with the "light path" MC ending in prison for embezzlement or something, and "dark path" MC in the loony bin. Middle of the road MC gets saddled with kids and divorced five times, greatly shrinking his estate. Chaste MC ends up on top, running the world without the distractions of flesh.

One of the best scenes in any game I have played. Showing Brittani the things she will have to do to become a star while simultaneously cucking her annoying ass boyfriend. Was amazing on my path when he walked in and MC’s cum was dripping off of her face. Really interested to see where that path goes. Hopefully we get to make many films with her and really degrade her.

Yeah, I mean we only play the dark paths route lol, otherwise what's the point of this game. Of course we explore the good, mixed and alternative dark paths for fun, but the main route will always be dark for this game. That's why this game is not like the rest.

ah okay I only play the good path dark path is to much for me to actually play. I only skimmed through it once after realizing it's not for me as the dark path got me curious enough to see what kind of consequences are in or will be in store for the MC. I just kind of skip past all the lewds on the dark path and read the dialogue for context before and after the dark path lewd scenes.

I'm with you on that. I have 2 saves. My main is Mason only on light path/romance and the other save is full on dark, but with Mason on that one, I'm basically there to help, nothing more.

Highly disagree, but that's fine, that's your opinion. I play primarily the good paths, and a couple of the 'corruption' ones. This game is in my top 4, that's without touching dark path content, it's called taste and preference, there's no such thing as a 'main route' in this game.
