yeah the vast majority of fathers love their kids (we are genetically programmed to love and take care of them even), and it's tough to be a parent and make the right decisions. that's a given. Carl also had an education filled with traditions and values from a long history in his family. but, every father has the power to break the tradition for the well being of their kids. it's tough, but it's still a choice. and for all his talk of special people and low character men, he couldn't muster his willpower to make that tough choice there is a difference though. Risa is not his biological kid, so his genetic programming might not have kicked in, and he is only doing what he sees as his "duty" towards a daughter and for his family, without the actual love, even if he does care about her.

Yeah, I agree with u ofc. There are apparently statistics that show adoptive parents are more likely to abuse than biological. I'm sure lots of people kind of already know that instinctively, but man it's depressing that that's our reality. I don't think Carl did any sexual abuse stuff and I don't think he did anything intentionally cruel, but he certainly is cruel nonetheless.

I always tell myself that my soul is completely tainted by decades of porn, but realistic rape (the crying and sad kind) or making them completely miserable really doesn't do it for me. It's kind of sad when it's realistic... Even if it's absurd, I'm much more about that "happy rape" where the girls begin to like it and get ahegaoed out lol.

I guess what I like about the corruption genre is that it isn't realistic in the vast majority of cases. Here, it's so realistic that there actually isn't any corruption. You still have a wide range of choices on the nice guy route as well, you don't become a boring pushover or anything like that tbh. Some of the choices are quite shocking, even. And the corruption route here is similar; it basically amounts to paying them, though you can be meaner or nicer about it and you can decide to bridge into other routes at certain junctures as it progresses.

I think you basically lose out on maybe 1 scene in beginning, depending on the girl, if you try to pursue them more like a normal person. You remain on friend route but will eventually get onto a more substantial route if you keep pursuing. Otherwise, you have to be bold and/or creepy lol. For example, pushing Ashe into the alley and going from there to your condo; accepting Brittani after the photoshoot in the bedroom; etc. They'll land you on their paths quicker, including romance, but lots of gentleman here don't like the idea of doing those things. I love it this way; we each get our own unique little pathways depending on preferences

Women like different things. The "perfect game" should have LIs that answer better to jerks and creeps and LIs who like the prince charming. And you should archieve a good ending with the girl either way, just if you touched her right string the ending should be somewhat better.

lol now I want this ending for Risa after getting clean and away from drugs I think would be a amazing ending for her. Nicki I think either married or pregnant makes the most sense for her seeing how she plays with Maya.

Mason might have a chance, depending on how the pet-play stuff with her plays out, and also how their relationship dynamic in general is handled. If both are well done, then possibly Mason could become my favorite. Cassie is more of an Unknown, but I've always really liked younger sister characters. Anyone outside of Nicki, Mason, Ashe and Cassie will never have a chance of becoming my #1. (Not even Brittani, even though she's hot af)

Honestly I think this the kind of game my #1 favorite is going to be switching from update to update. As I like Nicki alot and then after the date with Ashe I was having a hard time deciding. Then in the update before this one when we got to get Nicki to become our girlfriend officially that put her in the lead. Then this update finally made me decide on how I feel about Risa and now she has a spot in my favorite LI list for this game. ( I know you don't like her she is an acquired taste imo as I see why many don't like her and still don't).

Mason is a bit of an unknown to me I need to see more , as I couldn't accept the BJ as I felt like I was taking advantage still never seen that scene to this day. Brittani yeah she is hot and has a good story so far but doesn't hit me the same way as the rest.

Cassie same she is an unknown but I admit it's gonna take alot for me to like her. Maybe this is a bit unfair but I tend to expect better quality storytelling / characters when it comes to incest characters. As I find alot other dev's make incest feel like it's forced or just never makes sense even sometimes a typical porno cliche. Now I think Neon can pull it off it comes to how much time Neon is going put on her character before romance and lewds happen. As there is alot of characters in this game and she is going to come into the story pretty late. It wouldn't be fair unless it's for a story reason to ignore other characters for to long of a period because of that tho I do expect the first Cassie update to barley include other characters.

I like Ashe but Mason has a sexier body and a nicer personality imo.
