To be somewhat fair to rissa, she's a fuckup so her family wouldn't believe her and MC went into the situation blindly because of Rissa's dumbass so he's still catching up. Now if he's still doing dumb shit in like 3 updates then it'll become a problemyeah Risa's family and MC absolutely could never fuck up a drug dealer and pimp or have any sway over the police noooo
can we move the plot forward without having everyone acting like an idiot? in what universe is Lucien a threat to millionaire families that have been in the city for a century? legally or illegal, Lucien would disappear instantly

For the game which point is to allow MC be really really bad if he wants to, creating situation when he couldn't do anything (and so far still can't) is... kinda bad thing? Because it creates the feeling MC is really weak, despite what the game is trying to show usually. Especialy as he basicaly flaunts his own rather important connections the whole time. But yeah, let's see how it turns out in few next updates.

Yeah, I think I basically said as much in my comment you replied to, or at least that's how I meant it. Trust me, I don't really spend too much time on this earth giving sympathy to the devil, it's far too common that victims don't get enough attention as it is. It's more like when I'm in a particularly thoughtful mindset, positively philosophical, which is what I meant when I said "really, really, really open" in my comment, as in you set aside your preconceptions for a moment. I could've put more reallys I suppose.
I still think it can be done, though, after all it's sort of kind of happening with our MC if you play the dark path; the game doesn't directly insult the audience with "please feel sorry for this monster", it just lets you watch the true ugliness of existence unfold and decide for yourself. For me, a little tinge of sympathy isn't completely out of the picture; it gives a story even more depth and really makes you think about things.
Speaking of the devil, not that Isabella is as evil as dark MC or Lucien, that's partly why I think a relationship with her would be so fascinating (and hot in a fucked up way.. o_o). She could be our succubus

Go back to the end of Chapter 8 (where Risa takes you to meet Lucien) and see if you still have that problem. Chapter 9 leaked here before all the variables were set, and as such a lot of people are dealing with broken saves now.

Hey, I have a question, also about CH9. During playing version 0.70b I did not see certain choices in CH9 despite having the patch. Are they perhaps locked behind some minimum Darkness points requirements?

if you talking about the Luicen part. I had 2 play throughs my main light one no choice to do dark things. I did a speed run of a dark path cause I was curious as I read about a dark scene only on the speed run dark path save I saw it

Also if not for game armor, guy forcing rissa in the hotel should pretty much be a game ender. Not sure how he'd come back from that one given who she is.

because she promised him she would do it if he went in the drug den. and she put him in a very dangerous situation just to pull him in her problems and get him involved with Lucien. she feels she owes him, and she doesn't have anything else to trade. she is cut off from her family's money, and she can't use her influence. and the issue is also actually who she is, she has the reputation of a junkie and a slut, so MC's word will carry much more weight. that's also why she wanted to pull him in.

That's why I didn't sleep with her in the motel didn't want to treat her as a slab of meat when she is more than that. Even tho it wasn't the dark option to do so I felt like playing a dark path Guy doing that to her. Because he is taking advantage of her when what she needs is help and someone that will be there to love her back and not just see her as a sex object. I don't care if it was something that she promised guy feels shitty to do.
