What you are missing is that this isn't the full next update but just early sneak peek released by the author for people who'd be interested in such thing. The completed update will have full next chapter instead of just small sliver of it.

The alternative was not to get any update for a few more weeks.

Ok that's better. usually devs pause the progression just to remake a chapter. But if that isn't the case here kudos to the dev for multitasking. I just hope the saves aren't broken.

Sort of yes and no? Afaik, there'll be like a planned mini-harem with two (maybe more) love interests but the rest will be locked out. You can't get them all except in alternate routes.

Used to really, really like the game and supported it. The dev seems a great guy and is in constant contact on discord and here, unfortunately from my view, he's meandering around and not getting anywhere.

My fav character (and it seems most other people) is Brittani, yet there's been no progression with her for well over a year. Neon can't seem to help himself from constantly introducing new characters and ignoring the original girls that made the game great in the first place. It's his game and can do what he wants but it's disappointing.

One gave more insight into her family situation and the other sets things up for her movie audition. Given that I'm not sure how you can talk there's been no progression for her... unless by "progression" you actually mean strictly "do i get to fuck her yet?" ofc.

The game overall progression is not enough to follow the game. 138 renders and my saves prior to this version are from last year.

You are really complaining that he introduced Cassie? You know, the character who has been mentioned and built up in practically every update? The game isn't called "Brittani." She may be your favorite character, but frankly in a structural sense she is just another side character in Gabi's story who took on a life of her own. The fans of Gabi have much greater standing for complaint at the moment. I'm sure that Brit will get her due eventually, but for now the priority seems to be the revamp of the first chapter.
