On the subject of dude's and man's: I take a lot of character traits from people I know or have known in my life, and then kinda toss them into a blender with some fictional stuff, to create a basis for the characters. In Nicki's case, she's based on a girl who I was very good friends with for several years, and we'd always refer to each other as dude, man, buddy, pal, etc. When the stars aligned and we started sleeping together, that habit didn't really go away.

That said, I recognize that it's weird; but Nicki and Guy are both a little weird. I've been trying to downplay it a bit if you're on Nicki's girlfriend/boyfriend path, and lean into the idea that they're both trying to navigate this new reality. When they're texting each other in Chapter 9, you see Nicki trying out different pet names, while not really settling on one. I think we'll eventually see them grow into a more romantic relationship (if they're dating), and act a bit more like a couple. But I doubt the dude's and man's will ever totally go away.
I had a friend for many years who I called dude, but we were both so comfortable in our relationship and each other that I could have called her bitch or whore and she would have taken it as a pet name. Sadly there was no next level for us, we were too close to have a real relationship with anyone else (they inevitably got jealous and left or were chased away) but every time we tried to get romantic we fought constantly - it was the only time we fought. And ultimately we had to separate permanently because of it. So it's kinda nice to play the "what if".

Not my place to say because I'm an esl but I think is strange to call a girl, dude, man, bro constantly. Even worse if said girl is your love interest.
Like imagine being with her in the hot tub and saying:
- Bring that ass here bro, I'm gonna fuck you nice my dude :BootyTime:
I agree. When i was in my teens i said Dude a lot it was just my thing ever since i seen Bill and Ted lol and i knew some tomboy girls that i hung out with and they would get so mad everytime i called the dude. They would always remind me they was girls and you don't call girls dude, Bro, Man and that just because they like doing the things i like doesn't mean they like being refered to in that way.

Are there any wrong choices or game over choices?
I prefer to think of the wrong choices as happy little accidents. Some of the girls respond in... surprising ways to choices that are obviously awful. However, some choices will result in the girls disappearing from the story. These are the closest we have to game over choices at this point.

That's how i view it when it's Guy addressing Nicki, yes. (not the other way -- Guy is a dude) It's either disrespectful or sexist, or a combination of both. It may be subconscious, but that's how it feels and i'm rather annoyed i have no choice in this matter. "Our friendship is different" is just a bullshit excuse. What, Guy can't simply acknowledge he's a close friend and has "special friendship" with a girl?

How about Nicki returns the favor and refers to Guy per "girl" or "bitch" all the time? "Their friendship is just special like that, she sees him as one of the gals".:coffee:
I think it just depends on the person and how they grew up. Some girls say dude all the time and don't even notice when you call them it; others give a weird or maybe even insulted look (I've heard the odd "I'm not a dude.." frustrated response heheh). I wouldn't call it inherently sexist or insulting, it just depends on the people. I've also heard people call each other 'bitch' endearingly, and not even girls or gay guys like you might imagine, but straight dudes. Like everything, it just simply depends. :)

Personally, I'm a big fan of Nicki's speech. It's endearing and comfortable and reminds me of some chicks I've hung with before, the kind you get all cozy with in slippers and slacks and don't expect you to hold your farts in. :D

The frustrated response girls are the best. They have principles and will stand up for them.

I'm so over this conversation. At least 5 billion people in this world couldn't give a wet shit who you choose to call a dude.

don't like Isabella, she has an annoying personality, that matters to me more than looks
Sure she's an ice queen I know that but imagine a threesome dude!!!

On the dark path, she could force Britt to do it as a favour to Guy even. And on the romance path, Britt could do it for Guy as his birthday present or something.

Is it possible to patch the android version and if so how? Can't find the folder with game files anywhere in my file explorer?
