Those kind of polls are fruitful and fun. But the poll being discussed here would be "do you like the chp 1 changes yay or nay." I guess I don't see the problem if people are just curious. But I feel like it would end up being something to lord over on whose opinion is 'right' or 'wrong' or w/e; particularly if majority don't like it, it will just be aimed at the dev as ammo "durr no one likes this change Neon, WHY won't you change it back durr!?" That's a headache I think we'd all rather avoid honestly, especially Neon.

And like I said, some players might get the wrong impression that it's going to affect the design, which it's not. Plus, the results will change based on where you ask it; I bet his patreon/ss supporters are majority in favor, which are obviously the more $valuable$ opinions, but you might not get that impression from this forum.

Even in this forum I think most people are ok with it. When it first appeared a bunch of people popped in to say they liked it. It seems to be only a handful with any serious issues. Of course those people who popped in might not come back to vote.

feels like avoiding criticism , and undermining our opinion because we dont pay even tho we are passionate about the game ,also talking about the community in bad faith , but Ok

HAHAHA another dev realizing he can squeeze his patreon for more moola by remaking the game that's not even finished yet. Call it the Summertime Saga maneuver.

I voted with my money. As a long time subscribestar supporter I dropped my support and told him it was because I didn't like the way the remake was handled and I have lost faith in this project. That being said I doubt it's going to change anything. It's a shame I was really looking forward to this project and now unless things change dramatically, it's dead to me. Shit happens I guess...

I voted with my money too. I joined to support Neons work and to stay in the loop with what Neon is working on since this thread has become a bitch fest and he doesn’t post here anymore.

yeah , there was no strong update after mid 2024 ,and most peaple downgraded their subscription , i hope the next update makes up for it , and make the game bounce back , i do feel like its going to be good !
