I'm not against healthy debate or criticism. I've certainly not held back when the game I've played is crap. I don't see the value in discussing the value of the game in terms of its support. I've seen incredible games be atrociously undersupported, and I've seen soooooooooo many that were complete dogwater get a criminal amount of support for their dismal efforts. Even if the revamped chapter 1 didn't blow your skirt up, you must admit that this story has not fallen to their level in a single update.

Good or bad as a game may be, that is largely a subjective opinion, and I've not been in the habit of counting the money in other people's pockets. If somebody is able to pull together Patreon support despite a project going south or never knowing which way was north, more power to them. Saying "I'm pulling my funding and you have lost my support!" when it is pocket change isn't the flex you think it is. I'm sure that if my card fraud alerts Patreon, like it is wont to do every few months, Neon will survive just fine without my 15 bucks.

I think that the long term contributors to this thread are contributing just fine, even if they aren't thrilled with the current direction. It is the dive bombings from randos screaming about a remake without reading the thread that is making the thread insufferable. I do hope that Neon feels emboldened to return some time soon, when this shit burns out like the dumpster fire it is. His contributions are clearly missed, and not just by myself. In the meantime...

i agree , some games whit more supporters here dont deserve the attention that this game should have , i find this games vibe to be really cool , the women are hot and the story is great , What else can you ask in an AVN

People here tend to get nastier the longer they have to wait for an update. Some big games on here's threads get outright nasty at times.

I could be wrong, but she could be that Marina actress Brittani mentioned to both the protagonist and Jamie prior to the photo shoot where the latter loses his shit. She might've changed her hairstyle sometime after her meeting with the protagonist and Oliver the photographer in their vacation they spent together.

TBH I'm looking forward to the full thing - with Chapter 1 attached. New dialogue, and IIRC Neon said about 250 new renders in the combined chapter 1-10. 11 isn't coming until July so I can't get too excited about that yet.

There was not much in the way of sapphic action because nearly all of the sex scenes focus on Guy with girls (and Mason) solo. What they do in their own time is up for speculation, but there hasn't been anything but teasing and/or naughty photos between the girls thus far.

For some people, many in fact, the remake fails narratively. And hence the criticism.
Because I understand that we can consider the Chapter 1 Remake an update, right?
If not, there are also people, far fewer, who think the game began to spiral downward after the dinner with Ashe chapter.
In my opinion, the game reached its peak in that chapter with Ashe, and then has had its ups and downs. I think the introduction of the drug dealer—I don't remember if his name was Damian—was a negative turning point in the plot. In my country, we call that "a morcilla" (blood sausage), something that appears unexpectedly in the plot and that hadn't been foreshadowed. As an anecdote, it's called that because blood sausages are often filled with unexpected and low-value things. Does that mean many people won't like that plot? No, of course not. But we're not talking about taste or enjoyment here, at least not for me, but rather a narrative structure error. That plot wasn't planned from the start, and it's very noticeable. It's something that appears, unexpectedly, when the plot had already been established, and it "hijacks" it. That becomes the focus from then on, which is a mistake and considerably lowers the narrative quality of the work. Is the game a narrative disaster from then on? No, of course not. It continues to offer good things, especially what continues the previously established plot. That's why I say it has ups and downs from that point on.

But anyway, what I'm saying is that you can't assume that other game users have to admit that the game hasn't failed to deliver narrative quality in some updates. That's assuming too much, and putting too much trust in your abilities to judge the narrative quality of a plot.

Wait, how does this work? I'm confused -- Ch.1 rework was about fleshing out Guy and Nicki. It didn't have anything to do with the drug dealer plot, no..? The changes in the remake don't really touch it.
