Not a fan of Lucian but that's the point of his character I think, he's an evil mofo who deserves death.
On the other hand I don't think he's our nemesis, the cast is growing with every chapter as new substories are introduced.
I think some of the hate can come from him fucking some girls, we know some people are allergic to that kind of content.
While Lucian has his little criminal business, people like Risa's father have more power than a thug like Lucian will ever have.
So far the moral of FiN is Money = Power and how do you use that power.

Just gave the game a try and I'm confused. it looks like there's a lot more content than where the game "ended" for me (I was forced to return to the main menu after picking up Ashe for the date).

Looking at the OP, it looks like there has been some reworks, but from what I gathered, it was mainly chapter 1, no?

And I might be missing something obvious here, but didn't find a link to download a version with more chapters released.

So assuming that that's the current end of content as per the dev's vision... how often does the game updates?

I downloaded the game thinking there was a fair bit more content, tbh. Have been putting off on playing the game for quite a while specifically so I'd have a ton of content to get to at once.

Every " bad guy " scene works,only the Nikki rape scene is changed ( no more humiliation..)

Maybe I am remembering it wrong, but I though the scene with Ashe in the alleyway was different/longer. But it is also some time when I last played it.

You need to edit it with notepad and write:

label patch:
$ patch = True
return

That's the old way you had to do the patch. It doesn't check for that anymore, it only checks that there is a file called patch.rpy in the game folder. It can be blank on the inside.

Ok apparently I found the problem. I used the 0.73 version from Patreon and that doesn't work with the Patch. Now I used the version from here and it also works with the empty patch file.

The whole reason MANY people like this game is the writing is of a much higher caliber. If you are trying to get people interested in your product, you want to have your best work right from the start so they keep with it, particularly if you want them to buy a second product when it comes out in a few years. And you are dead wrong about grammar. Bad grammar makes a story hard to understand, and will instantly take me out of my headspace. I do, however, question how you can imagine that's what I meant by writing - grammar matters, sure, but far more important is an well structured story, compelling characters, engaging dialog, and concise but clear world building. I'm not just playing to jerk off - I can go to Porn Hub if that's all I want. I want story telling. And that is what the fans of THIS game are here for.

And same with the graphics - the first chapter was trash compared to the rest of the game - not at all good marketing. And if other games have trash graphics top to bottom, well, this game aspires to (and achieves) something better. Go play some AI junk if you want, or one of the Russian games that give the exact same information 30 times over 3 different paper doll images while they harvest all your personal data from your PC. Those of us who actually pay for this game do so because we want something better.

I am not that demanding, I understand that most authors make games alone or in a small team, so I do not demand high quality from them, the presence of content in the game is much more important to me.

I want to give her the option, so good Guy is still being good Guy and opening doors but not pushing people through them and character development stays with Neon. Maybe she wants to get rid of them, maybe she doesn't for some reason, maybe it depends on how her life is going (ie if you're on the friends path or the love path she gets rid of them but if you're on a darker path she keeps them kind of thing.)

It would be interesting to have her get Guy's opinion and then based on other choices made throughout, have her ultimately decide what to do. I think the problem is render work because after that you'd need a tat Nicki and a non-tat Nicki for her future scenes, doubling that part of the workload.

Meh. I'm not gonna hold past decisions against someone that seems to be trying to do better. Besides, this tat thing would need to be a late game decision, if it even turns into anything at all.

Patreon version does not work with the patch you need the subscribestar version if you want the darkest content. (you need to start a new game with the patch installed)

i must have missed something. Why did the remake of Chap 1 suddenly become remaking everything? what a pointless exercise. Should we be expecting a 2nd or 3rd or 4th remake in the future, everytime NG becomes dissatisfied with an earlier section of the story?

It was ALWAYS going to include an update to the code, because when Neon began making the game he was still pretty new to coding. He is going through and updating the code so it is cleaner, and faster for him to work with from here on out. He was always quite open and public about it. He did, as he always does, underestimate the time it would take to make those updates, but his supporters understand that about him, and are fine with it. This is, after all, his side hustle, and his actual job is a legitimately high stress, time demanding profession. He can't possibly work on this game as much as we would all like him to do!!!

Nope! Everything I use is out of the box. But I do always mix and match parts and skins to try to create characters that don't look a dozen other AVN gals.
