Well the reworked chapters are much better than the previous version ; big kudos and thanks to NeonGhosts
And the rest of the game is still as enjoyable, this rework cements this VN as one of the best.

Whenever I want to try a darker PT, I always end up either lovers with Nicki or best friends. For me, the content from other routes with her just doesn't exist.
In general, what makes FiN stand out from the mass of games with love/lust/dark MC paths is that they are really different. Usually, the devs pay attention only to the dark path (or corruption, humilation, whatever) If you don't choose the dark options you'll get basically the same playthrough with the same plot, events, dialogues only the lewd scenes will be skipped.
But in this game they are really different paths. The most striking example is Ashe: if the MC treats her with love and respect, he will be rewarded with a bunch of different lewd scenes in which she happily participates, enjoys doing kinky things and takes the initiative.

If I remember correctly, you need to rape her and mess your relationship with Carolina for her to be gone.
It would have been best if she never returns after chapter 1.

Nah because you don't have to have sex with her at all in Chapter 1 or after she comes back, she'll move out after a few days and then (if you're not in a relationship with her) you only talk to her occasionally - mostly about work stuff - which makes it kinda hard to get that annoyed about (an old friend who works for you and occasionally talks to you about work). Fail to see how that could annoy you to the point where you want her dead.
Chapters 1-7 are done and available at the top of the thread. Chapters 7-10 are coming soon - Chapter 11 (brand new) will probably be ready next month. 7-10 might come with it or Neon might push it out early to test it for bugs before he attaches 11. But you're good to go for the first 7 chapters.

don't know how anyone can hate her in the remake unless you lack emotions or just hold a grudge from the old version. I can understand a dislike her for in the old one even tho I disagree but killing nah that is going way to far

I hate her character for the same reason I hate people who enable addicts and fuck-ups in their lives and let them drag you down alongside them.
That's why I think the game will be better without her after the first chapter.

eh I don't see that from her at all. ( not sure about the recent update to the rework). I put all that blame on the MC not her since in the old one she just wanted a place to sleep for a few days. She even did her best to not involve the MC at all. The MC is the one that suggested she work for him , she even tried to distance her self from him to certain degree if you played her romance path.
If anything what you described would be fit Risa's character not Nicki.
Edit : I would say Ch 1 remake Nicki isn't anything like that either at least what I played it was the MC the offered if you choose to give her the money that is

I was referring to Nicki's relationship with Brent and how she enabled his crazy spendings and his behavior until he dragged both of them down like the degenerate that he is.

Yeah, the reason she's gone so long is that she tries to avoid dragging the MC into her shit, until she has nowhere left to go - then she asks if she can stay for a few days until she figures something out. A romantic relationship is the MC's idea (if you go that route), buying her new stuff is the MC's idea, giving her a job is the MC's idea, putting her in her own apartment (where she pays rent) is the MC's idea. Since then she hasn't tried to drag the MC into anything - Brent sorta does, but not Nicky. All she does is be a good girlfriend (if you go that route) and basically do so well as an assistant that the MC complains that he has nothing to do a few times. So I fail to see how she's like an addict who tries to drag you into her shit.
Like Dess said - Risa IS an addict who tries very hard to drag you into her shit, both the sex ring and shit with her father (who threatens MC and sorta Nicky too). Trying to fix Risa's shit is the most dangerous thing in the game so far (for the MC).
