Hey, folks! Hope you're all doing well this week! I know I said I'd have some thoughts to share today about some of the things going on in the AVN space, but my meandering thoughts grew into something like an essay, complete with visual aids.. So, I'm giving it some more time to percolate. Didn't want to leave you in the lurch though, so I thought I'd drop a normal dev update.

Not a whole lot to talk about, though! I'm still moving right along, banging out images for the new chapter. Tomorrow I'll be dropping a new demo build for $15+ supporters, which includes a new ero scene. I still need to place some images, but I'll do my best to get it up as soon as possible.

Also, a lot of people really feared the worst with my ominous update on Monday. So let me just assure you: I'm not planning on going anywhere. I have every intention of finishing this story, and I do my best to take steps in that direction every day. I'm just looking at how I can best protect the project, my income, and the investment of time, attention, and money that a lot of people have put into it. I'll clarify some things, once I publish that rambling essay of mine. But I'm not intending to do anything drastic, so don't stress too much.

I was never worried about Neon quitting because you can tell how passionate he is about FiN, both in his dev logs and in the game itself.

could be guessing but pretty sure they were just saying they wont miss rape regardless, like its a condolence.

Friends Indeed: Chapter 11 Teaser is out. It's a standalone that contains just under 450 renders, and a new ero scene.

I think they're complaining about Ashe's way of speaking in general and how it feels nothing like the narrator describes it.

Like, the whole "valley girl" schtick Ashe has going can be pretty tiresome, to be fair. Like, for real. :whistle:

I am not American or native English speaker but even I know Ashe is speaking "Valley Girl" English by saying "like" all the time which is irritating for me and I know developer did this on purpose while creating her, So im not "Triggered" I'm just little angry to that Valley Girl stereotype :)

Well Neon did give you plenty of options to do unsavory things to the poor characters you don't like...

unfortunately I didn't know that, I started playing without a guide and when I see that line; you find yourself relaxing, enjoying the conversation... I'm like NO BRO I'M NOT ENJOYING THE CONVERSETON :D I want to hatefuck this dumb bitch but because I didn't know u can do stuff like that I just didn't invite her.

Or you could just keep playing and find out why she speaks and acts that way, instead of jumping to conclusions, I mean, you formed a negative impression of her based on just one conversation.

there is a story reason for it. Not the type of game you want to reach a conclusion before you find out all the details. Ashe is actually a very sweet and likeable girl. But I get it if that type of talk is not for you , her path probably not for you. There is such a character in another game even tho she is really liked I can't stand her dialogue despite there being a story reason for it. Still tho I plan to play her path next time I play said game.

I didn't want to offend anybody, please remember she is just a game character, u guys saying there is a story behind her talking way, the only possible story could be she either has a crush to mc and excited or she didn't take primary education :) jokes aside I really like the game and looks like everybody else also likes how passionate the dev is etc.. but because there is no music or animations I really can't find the motivation to play the game, I just wanted to add this like a little review
