I've worked as a concierge at a fancy high-rise in a role much like Carolina's. The tenets were politicians, celebrities, and professional athletes. There was even an infamous organized crime figure and the Governor's kept mistress. Even so, I was treated more like a live-in servant than a front desk girl and was amazed at the access I was routinely given. We also had a staff of valets and gofers to cater to the needs of our upscale residents. The only difference seems to be that Guy prefers to interface with Carolina directly, whereas for the most part, as a concierge, I received marching orders from a gaggle of personal assistants and/or security personnel. The rich really do live differently.

Yup that one i believe 100%, since it's identical here. Trusting some min wage randos with your private accomodations is a recipe for disaster.

Oh, I was not compensated at minimum wage for that position. It was probably double the minimum wage at that time. Not rolling in cash by any means but well paid enough that they didn't need to worry about me making off with the silverware. I'm sure that Carolina is paid fairly as well.

silverware is easy, being approached and given good money to hide a listening device in the apartment is where the fun begins. Or as a Valet getting the car stolen, esp. if its a rarity.

I think it's partially just who you are and where you are in life. I've dated someone significantly younger than me - not an 19 year old but someone in her mid 20s when I was about 40 and we just didn't have that much in common except the obvious. I mean we got along well enough but we had different interests and were in different places in our lives. And it was always awkward hanging out with her friends because we had nothing in common - and most of them were still at the 'lets drink till we can't see because that's fun' stage. So I'd be way more drawn to someone like Carolina, or Jun, or the lawyer or the real estate agent than Brittani or Gabi.
I'm also golden retriever loyal, so I'd never abandon my dude, the fact that they were going through some stuff, or just crashed and burned would just pull me in closer. I get the should've been thing - I've done that too, and it sucks but there just wasn't an option during Nicki's absence that would have diverted me, and her coming back wounded would have pulled me closer to her - making me drop anything that wasn't serious.

from the old version. Basically Brent forced her to try and get money out of guy ( tho she asked for much less than Brent wanted to) . Back then we didn't have the option to just give her the money without sex , so to some she came across as a goldigger ( not me). So some were unable to forgive when she came back after ghosting him . I didn't find it unforgiveable after listening to her explanation and how she did her best to get by on her own as she didn't want to take advantage of the MC again even tho she easily could of. She was even hesitant to accept any help from the MC or a relationship when she came back just wanted to a place to stay for a few days ( unsure if this was changed to any degree or not as I only played the intro of the rework for now)
Also there was alot less build up , to show their realtionship and friendship. So because of that her actions made her even less likeable then she comes across in the rework.

I will say, I asked my Discord if I should just put out what I have, and say to Hell with it. It’s 800ish images, putting it around the level of some of my smaller chapters. And it ends in a place that’d make a perfectly fine chapter break. But, I got the same response I always get: people would rather wait for a big content drop, than get a smaller one now.
