Sooooo the dev remade the beginning of the game, which caused some continuity errors, variables errors etc. He also had to clean up the code so he's been releasing what we knew of the game before by increments. We'll soon get back to where we were. So no you're not hallucinating nor are you thinking of a different game.

I've a question regarding Risa and her upcoming story (and sexy time) with the protagonist. Previously Carl Rhodenbarr was seen (prior to the remake), and he's got a very, very low opinion of his daughter but we've not seen his wife yet. Will she be eventually be seen in person in a future update? Risa did mentioned that she didn't wanted to worry her mum to death or let her down.

We might see her, but she won’t get too much attention. I honestly did not like the change in this story. Before, it was left to player what was Nicki's intentions, things were a little bit vague. She came to MC, after she learned the money. Now, the story is flatten, her edge is taken away. Sure, this version is still a nice story and if I tried it before I've seen the original version I'd probably like it, but after knowing the original story, I feel like dev said you people are not worthy of good story so, here I dumbed it down for you guys.

Perhaps a divorce or the premature death of her mother would work better storywise. Risa has addiction problems after all, most times that's a byproduct of a broken family, absent parents and so on.
rel=0 is usually if you're on the friendly path aka never had sex with them. I think you have to just give her money without doing anything with her.
