IIRC Neon also said something about her coming from an abusive background - if that's the case it's not unusual for her to hook up with an abusive boyfriend. And after he ran up all that debt the first time, she goes back - with the money to get out of shit and every intention of breaking up with him but by the time she gets there he's already gotten them both in more shit - which she spends 9 months trying to get out from under before she shows up at MC's door. And she had left Brent anyway, he'd just dropped the whole problem he created in her lap before he left.

No I was not talking about the MC at all, I was referring to how she enabled Brents crazy behavior and giving him money every time to spend on bullshit which resulted in her loosing everything basically and getting a bunch of ugly tattoos by some pevr as a gift.

If I remember correctly, you need to rape her and mess your relationship with Carolina for her to be gone.
It would have been best if she never returns after chapter 1.

Actually, the connection with Carolina is the opposite; if you rape Nicki for the nth time in your condo while Maya is in the other room, you tank your relationship with Carolina (Nicki warns her about Guy).

For Nicki to disappear, you have to stay on the dark path and be totally unrelenting and unapologetic about it. Otherwise, she'll stick around and put up with Guy some more.

heh, that's exactly how overcompensation works. You can't forgive yourself for something, for the mistakes of your youth, and so behavior like yours performed by someone else hurts the most and that's why it's annoying, since you can't influence the plot of the VN. I know that. I'm not laughing, dude. Although of course it's none of my business.

Whenever I want to try a darker PT, I always end up either lovers with Nicki or best friends. For me, the content from other routes with her just doesn't exist.

In general, what makes FiN stand out from the mass of games with love/lust/dark MC paths is that they are really different. Usually, the devs pay attention only to the dark path (or corruption, humilation, whatever) If you don't choose the dark options you'll get basically the same playthrough with the same plot, events, dialogues only the lewd scenes will be skipped.

But in this game they are really different paths. The most striking example is Ashe: if the MC treats her with love and respect, he will be rewarded with a bunch of different lewd scenes in which she happily participates, enjoys doing kinky things and takes the initiative.

Every path is carefully crafted, there are positive and negative way of behaving for LIs, fear, love, humiliation, hatred....
I can't play a dark path so I'm either a friend, best friend, FWB or full lover and I love that game for that. So much care and nuances in every path with every LI...

I must say it is indeed refreshing compared to most game where entire pages of scripts are skipped if you're not behaving like a horny animal.
