Yup. If the government wants to pass a law to make something illegal they can (or they can try) but MC and Visa shouldn't be able to do it on their own.

What they are trying to remove is far more broad then the strict definition of rape, so you might dearly regret those words when many game including this one and others that you might play end up going down.
Here is a bit of info for those who aren't into others telling them what they can or can't legally buy.
Is it weird that I'm technically on the Risa path because I want to stop Lucien, but I'm friendzoning Risa and avoiding lewds with her because I'm way more interested in Carolina. I don't think Risa could be trusted keep anything secret and I don't want her ruining my chances!

I don't think it's weird at all. Lucien is a way bigger deal than Risa. I know it's something they often say in creative writing textbooks. “No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. No surprise in the writer, no surprise in the reader.” "All readers come to fiction as willing accomplices in your lies." "Every literary work is measured by the distance between the reader's horizon of expectations and the aesthetic experience it provides."
The reality? That usually has the same result as when an unattractive person takes an attractive person's dating advice for granted: failure and rejection.
I always thought the Lucien plot arc was something similar to the main quest in this game. I didn't know you could completely ignore it, which would be pretty stupid, since it offers a lot of room for both the good guy and the evil guy.

On the flip side, it is wise to avoid Risa's plea to visit Lucien on a bad guy playthrough, as you can really screw yourself. That, of course, denies Guy a much-needed moment of reflection on where his bad deeds will eventually lead, but them's the breaks.

I'll avoid Lucien once that piece of garbage has been dealt with. He upset a beautiful flower like Risa that makes me angry.

That seems like a skill issue more than anything? A bad Guy can get all buddy-buddy with Lucien, have some fun with the girl and in the end lie to Risa how he's totally going to help her. Way more entertaining than just turning her down.

I play a half-good, half-bad direction, depending on the woman. Does anyone know how the Lucien dark-path will end up? I don't mind getting together with him, but I do mind that he has incriminating video footage in this case. Therefore, I did not do anything wrong in his case.

It's not been developed yet, but I believe that when we catch up to the story there will be more answers to what Lucien intends to do with the video. He will likely just become another of Guy's friends in need, just one he doesn't feel as good about lending a helping hand.

Dev Update! 7/30/25
Hey, folks! Hope you're all doing well this week! I know I said I'd have some thoughts to share today about some of the things going on in the AVN space, but my meandering thoughts grew into something like an essay, complete with visual aids.. So, I'm giving it some more time to percolate. Didn't want to leave you in the lurch though, so I thought I'd drop a normal dev update.
Not a whole lot to talk about, though! I'm still moving right along, banging out images for the new chapter. Tomorrow I'll be dropping a new demo build for $15+ supporters, which includes a new ero scene. I still need to place some images, but I'll do my best to get it up as soon as possible.
Also, a lot of people really feared the worst with my ominous update on Monday. So let me just assure you: I'm not planning on going anywhere. I have every intention of finishing this story, and I do my best to take steps in that direction every day. I'm just looking at how I can best protect the project, my income, and the investment of time, attention, and money that a lot of people have put into it. I'll clarify some things, once I publish that rambling essay of mine. But I'm not intending to do anything drastic, so don't stress too much.
