Just play, really. The choices are self-explanatory. Don't focus too much on the "route", but think of it in terms of action -> consequence. If you're friendly, but not too forward, you'll probably end up on the friend route immediately or the romance route eventually. If you're assertive, but not an asshole, you'll likely end up on the romance or the light dominance routes. If you're completely selfish, mean, and aggressive, well... dark domination route or the rape route, obviously.

You don't add the version, you delete the 0.73 version and download the 0.85 version. The saves are kept in a separate location so they'll be accessible from the new version.

Well, how else is he going to bring even more trouble to her doorstep? Some folks just can't stand peace and quiet. Brent certainly seems to fall into that catagory. We've all had that one friend who was a walking, talking disaster and a drama factory.

Correct. The game just checks to see if the file exists and unlocks the content. The file itself is empty.

Seriously, I don't know who we have to contact for that but couldn't the information about the patch being empty be on the front page? It would save soooooOOoOOOOoOooOOo much time for everybody posting to ask the question every two pages and the ones having the patience to reply to the same question everytime (although we're starting to have a good core team for that).
