According to Neon, on this forum, and more explicitly on Discord, Cassie is unlikely to have a romantic path. I hesitate to bring it up, because I'm not really in the mood to stir up more shit today, but FiN is a more grounded game than most AVN's, and he has said he does not know how to make a Cassie light side path feel appropriate for the game's universe. That's not to say he won't come up with something he likes - it's a work in progress, after all - but he doesn't have it NOW. So, it is likely the only paths involving sex with the Guy's sister will be corruption and dark side paths. His supporters, by and large, have been in the, "makes sense, cool," camp, or in the, "aw, man, that sucks, but we trust you," camp.

My saves from 0.72 dont work. Is there any way to fix it or do i have to restart?

The entire code base has been rewritten, so yes, you need to restart. But the entire first chapter is new, the second chapter is expanded, and the rest of the first season has a bunch of little additions.

I clearly remember there were some rough scenes with Ashley in the alley, with Gabby at the end, and with someone else. But in the current version, I can't access them. What am I doing wrong?

First, make sure you have Friends in Need, not Friends Indeed. Next, make sure you have the patch installed. It is a blank file, but it's presence in the Game folder activates the dark stuff. If it is installed correctly, the heart on the upper left of the title screen turns grey. Then, start a new game. You must rape either Nicki or the Brazilian girl on the boat, or the darkest material will be blocked for you.

I must say, they changed the flow of the story. I feel we get more details about what happened besides the MC gets rich, buys an apartment and opens a business.

That is what happened, yes. There is also some more info about what happened between Guy getting rich, and Nicki showing up again.

But at what cost? I'm personally afraid to go replay with the re-made content, as part of why I *think* the remake happened was to avoid certain illicit material and appease the credit card processors. I'm not going to delve deep into the topic and posts here to find out, but losing the more questionable content doesn't appeal to me - I'd rather remember the game as it was.

Perhaps I'm wrong and someone will decide to post on what may have been removed or changed as a result. But I have a hard time with the more vanilla aspects of what AVNs are being forced into nowadays. Vanilla just doesn't really cut it for me. Just my .02

Don't worry, I doubt Neon will lock out Cassie or Callie out of romance paths. He is aware of how much people want that content and I really doubt Neon will just lock it to just being an asshole only.

He knows as much as us...Nothing. he regurgitates the same info about discord and so forth with no evidence, and was probably from a long, long time ago. And from a very brief interaction on here, Neon won't talk about that content for obvious reasons of certain websites, but I got the impression it will be coming for all paths.

So don't worry, I trust Neon will deliver on the romance paths too, cause he know how much people love that content and those specific girls. So just trust it will come, cause it will.

Nah I've checked the discord and as recently as a few days ago Neon has said he doesn't see a way for a romance path to realistically happen with Cassie. Corruption path yes but no pure romance path and probably not scenes with just each other either.

Will the MC get another chance to make Nikki his girlfriend? If you choose to spend time with Risa you miss that chance and I feel that Nikki is important enough to the story that a deeper relationship with her shouldn't be hidden behind a multiple choice scene.

That part of remake was done before the whole recent round of drama with the payment processors throwing their weight around has happened. I think it's perfectly viable to believe that things were redone because the initial iteration gave many players "wrong" impression of Nicki and her relationship with Guy, and the author wanted to make it more believable/fleshed out/clear.

(the questionable "illicit material" is still there, for what's worth. So it's not like the remake made it any more swallowable for the self-appointed morality guardians)

Callie is a child, but won't always be. There are going to be other issues there, however, story wise. But I would be surprised if there wasn't, at some point, a romance path with her. She's already got a major crush on Guy, and there will be opportunities to do her a great service in Season 2. It could absolutely lead to something more, though honestly still kinda creepy - she's half his age, at this point.

As for Cassie, if you doubt me, join the Subscribestar at the $15 level, and go read the Dark Path and Close Friends channels on the Discord. Ask him directly somewhere he has more freedom to answer. I'm not making it up. Neon, quite reasonably, doesn't care what people pirating his game think of his choices, and his supporters just want him to keep making the game to the same standard of quality. If he can come up with a good explanation for a romance with Cassie, he'll do it. If he can't, he won't. He's said it explicitly, and recently. He doesn't want to get into the subject on a public forum like this because, you know, it's incest, and he wants to have a Steam release one day. At the very least, even if he comes up with something, it will always be hidden behind a patch.

It's funny to see Nicki being shorter than Gabby. Bet Gabby was all like, "Fuck yes, finally i'm not the smolest" when they met.

There is more than two routes. More like four basic alignments, with a lot of variations. There is one alignment, at most, which is likely to not have a Cassie path. But the even the light grey corruption path will have a Cassie option. You will absolutely NOT have to go the full rapist route to bone Cassie.

To follow up on this, now that I'm feeling less sassy.. I've addressed both of these issues before. Music is tough, because a lot of those 'royalty-free' music packs have specific language in their TOS that forbid their use in pornographic material. And even putting that aside, I care a lot about creating a specific feel for the scenes in the game. Something as much as a minor change in expression, is really important to me. It's for that reason that I don't just want to toss a few looping tracks into the game, and call it a day. I'd rather have no music, than bad music.

For animations, I don't really enjoy them, for the most part.. It's rare that I see Daz animations I think look genuinely great. Add to that they take a lot of time to render, and it's a new skillset I'd need to learn, and it's just not something I'd like to explore right now.

Now, I have seen some animations that I thought looked really nice. If I could hire someone to do something on this level, I'd be all for it. But until then, I'd rather just use my little 2-3 frame 'flipbook' animations.

If that's really the case then why not remove the adjustable gauge for the sound and music if you don't plan on implementing them in the game? I've played lots of games without them.
