The entire story for chapter one was redone. It's not just new renders, it's an entirely different chapter. And the begining of Chapter two is entirely new.

And the code was rewritten so it was easier to work with, which may not be obvious on the surface of it, but it does make a difference to how the game plays.

It is the mere presence of the patch.rpy file which triggers the patch. If the heart in the upper left of the tittle screen is grey, you have it right.

Nicki's height is regularly referenced as a joke, so yeah -- she's very short.

Although.. I think girls in AVNs tend to be unrealistically tall? Like, I'm 5'11, so not super tall. But most girls I know are in the ballpark of Nicki/Gabby/Viola's heights. Girls like Ashe and Madison would be bigger outliers, standing near Guy's height.

That's not very short, just barely. And for God's sake, do not alter either Nicki's or Viola's height in S2!

I don't like the dark path either but it being there makes taking the good guy path feel more impactful vs not having the dark choice being there.

The paths are really well written so much so that it made me feel very uncomfortable.

Domination, corruption, I can enjoy those. Real rape depictions with fear and tears? Not for me.

The more you play the less you want to hurt the characters. Maybe because Neon writing is that good, maybe because empathy works like that.

There are already enough vanilla games out there.

I was a bit harsh, I certainly don't want the game too vanilla. And NG does let us easily avoid things we don't like, thankfully.
