I keep seeing people talk about a Good and Evil Paths but you guys know there is another right? To me that is the sweet spot and it's so absurdly well written. You get to be the "bad" Guy while still helping the girls. The scene that 100% sold me on this path was the date with Ashe. She is super mad at you from the start but by the end of the night she...well she sees you in a more favorable light if you play your cards right haha. It's rare to see a AVN MC doing villain-y shit while being smartly written. Normally you'd get really stretchy stupid logic or mind control or some shit.
Mason gets full love and attention though.
I'd recommend you guys try this path, its really good.

That really is the whole reason this game is so good - there isn't just multiple paths, and there isn't just one well written path which has all the dev's attention. You have at least four distinct basic paths, with many variations, and ALL of them are well written. The story always comes first, and the sex, while good, is just a part of the whole. It is extremely rare to see a game with a dark path where the light path is equally well written, and all the ones between as well, but Neon does it.

I know Neon was saying that chapter two would quickly follow the chapter one release. Anyone have any info on when that is anticipated to release?

Is right because I played these chapters a year ago, by now. Time finally for the new chapter.

Not really. The beginning choices basically establish your character's personality. Maybe the dev also decided it'd be a pain trying to develop a dark path that could start in every encounter? I don't know, I guess there's more than one plausible interpretation of what a dark route should look like, but it is pretty baffling for someone to stroll through all the beginning LIs being nice, and then bam, suddenly decide to rape the 5th LI you come across or something. Like, how do you even write that in the story? What does that say about the MC's character? It's much easier to just establish it in the beginning and that's that.

I would like for there to be a version which involves a gradual decent into evil, rather than doing it all at once, but Neon gets to tell his story.

Completely agree. I think that would be really interesting, and also way more relatable actually. Unless we're missing something and that route is already being developed. BUT... considering there's already many ways to approach the game, many LIs & minor gals to fuck around with, and so many variables that are being juggled, including a dark route full of guilt & regret that I'm really fascinated to see where it goes... I think I can 1000% forgive Neon for not including this. Eh, maybe expansion material for the far future.
