In the old version Nikki knows he's struck money so goes to him and eventually asks for it and so you can tell her you want sex in return for payment, and then you can pay her more for doing in the ass. It's just in the new version we see more of Guy before he won big.

So, originally the dev from The Regional Manager (great game, great guy, go play it!) did the art for Chapter 1. I used his model for Nicki, but there were certain things about her that I didn't love, and I wound up changing a bit before I took over rendering Chapter 2. I gave her more distinct eyes, tweaked her face a bit, blah blah blah. So, the Nicki present in Chapter 1, matches the Nicki that exists from Chapter 2 and on. I changed her hair from the original, just because that original asset was dForce hair, which is a giant pain in the ass to work with.
I just wasn't happy with it, honestly. Due to how it was made (with me writing, and someone else rendering) it just never felt as cohesive as I wanted it to. And I couldn't have as many renders as I wanted, because another dev was doing the art, while working on his own game, so he only had limited time to fuck with it. The new version lingers more on Nicki and Guy's friendship, goes into his original crypto investment a bit more, introduces some characters earlier, and adds more variety to the sex scenes. I wouldn't say it's just a new coat of paint on an old story. It's more like a retelling of the original, with more elements added.
Difficult to say, but my best guess would be mid-late July? I'm still early into Chapter 11, and it should be a pretty large chapter.
Eh, I'm not really frustrated. I'm pretty accustomed to this pattern by now. I do [X], some folks says it's the death of the game, and then we rehash the exercise in four months. Been that way since the first release. I just wish people would realize that, if their intent is to whip me into submission like a dog, it's just.. Not going to work? That seems to be the impetus, right?

Guys, guys, there's no need to fight. If Guy can enjoy both Nicki and Brittani in the same scene, so can you.
The MC was broke at the start of the original version that is true, but back then the game implied that aside from that the disastrous decision to invest in crypto the MC generally had his head on straight. The new version makes excessively clear that poor decisions were the MC's calling card and he continued to fuck up his life from that point onward. IMHO that does badly undermine the premise of the game once he lucks into his fortune, though obviously some people disagree and like the change.
A sexual relationship with Jun doesn't happen automatically, it depends on what option you pick when the MC meets her again in Chapter 2.
I didn't really get this impression from the reworked intro. The MC seems to simply lack any advantages that he could use to turn his life around and dig himself out from the poverty he's in. If anything, he's cautious not to fuck up and end up in prison or worse. He ekes out a living and it's nothing to write home about, but that's the case for most people.
