I'm at the part where Levi (MC's default name) gets married to Kylie and after reading what Samuel said about Osian not being happy about that, I think that at this point, Osian is about to be as petty as Lex Luthor was in the recent Superman movie. I think he already started when he bought the building Levi lived in at his home village and sold the apartment Levi lived in to someone else. Then changed the law regarding buying slaves. Levi may end up living rent free in Osian's head at this point.

I had this exact same issue. I was replaying the game and when I got to this part, the exact same thing happened. The weird thing is, when I loaded a save that was a bit past this part, the issue was resolved.

This game is not the only thing I do. The fact I have time to work on it at all sometimes amazes me, yet I get it done. Not all of the updates are going to be story based or expand the story further than I want to expand it within a certain update. Some will have extras, like the three new repeatable scenes that were in this new update.

Don't get me wrong, I like the update, but if I'm not mistaken, you wanted to release updates faster. There were weeks without any news from you. Even when you were sick, you let us know that it was delayed. I understand that life doesn't always go as planned, but you should know that many people are waiting for updates and messages from you and are worried when they don't hear anything for a long time. We don't know you personally, but you and your game are still a part of our lives, and I hope it stays that way for a long time.

I do want to release them faster, just not in a position right now to do so. One day hopefully! Thank you for letting me know your thoughts and that you enjoy it. I do not post news here often on updates, only when they are released or when I feel that I need to. Expect a normal release cycle from me to be 6-8 weeks long. And if I get a few out faster, great! If looks could kill, Osian would be shooting Levi/MC with an orbital cannon right now. Bro is PISSED. Given what happened so far, he already hates Levi damn near as much as Dio Brando hates the Joestar bloodline lol.
have to be honest here. the whole part were you are captured is BS and not a good fit for the story.

Which is why I cut it short. A lot of people were not jelling with the direction so I took action. I forced the end as quick as I could. It was supposed to be a longer arc then it what it turned into. Basically I turned into one update like 5 jumps to get to the end in a believable way.
I get it and I should have chosen better words but that's why I leave the writing to you. I suck lol. I do Love the rest of it though and will continue to read it. This is one of the few favs of mine that are still being worked on. Most of the other ones I was interested in gave up.
I actually liked the kidnapping arc. The MC tends to win his encounters too easily and it was a good power reversal that made him feel more human. On top of that it had some fun subversions of power. MC was dominating the keep even from a position of significant weakness. Seducing the villains daughter (okay she pretty well seduced her self but w/e), stealing Altariel from the dickless wonder, resisting the slave contract and getting a cute maid out of it, stealing Osian's two slaves by fucking them. A lot of really great little plots that happened that felt good specifically because the MC was overcoming people who should've had the advantage over him with them. Plus he got saved by his hot sister in law blowing up the bad guy's arm. Was probably the best introduction in the game even if she was just a gem at that point.
I also think it ended at the right time even if the ending was a little rushed though. I think it played out its use and any longer would've been getting long in the tooth.

Not gonna lie, she looks so adorable that I damn near headpatted the screen. Yes, I know thats Erochaser's character. Also yes, 10/10 would still headpat. Like Goku, I'm just saying.
