You are happy, but there are many players, including myself, who are unhappy, and we are not asking you to deprive yourself of pleasure, we just do not understand why our choice does not mean anything.

Hate to break it to you but this might as well be a kinetic novel and the dev already has his 'canon' ending which doesn't align with everyone who wants to see the MC just peace out and leave his family behind. As for choices, at this point they are just there for kinks and maybe some side LIs, but the dev clearly has plans for Rachel, Emilie and Felicity as main LIs at some point. If that's not how you want to play 'your path' it might be best to just bail.

so far the writing makes either the mc or his "family" the assholes
there cant be a "mc did something terrible ,has memory loss and will be the good guy now"
neither a "the family left him alone after wakeup ,does not care, spy on and hides something terrible from the mc -but loves him"

the players WILL hate one side , no matter how hard the writer tries to push a "love em all"

What do you mean?

- The writer of this has spent update after update painting the "family" has horrible assholes.
- He made sure that anyone that has 2 brain cells reads this and understands that the "family" does not trust him, does NOT want to be near him, does not like him, does not want him in the company or in their home.
- He made sure they don't help him in anyway, and that the MC knows it.
- The writer went further and made us the players, see how deep they don't like or trust the MC.

Then, in this update, when he finally confronts the "mother" and the "sister from hell", this spineless MC that was saved by his LI from being killed by his "sister" orders, says he Loves them. Even when they say to his face that they will continue to hide stuff from him...

How he handles it? He doesn't. He's a worm, a spineless worm without any vestige of self-respect. He even goes to the "sister from hell" house to watch TV with her pointing a gun at him.

No. There's no way to salvage that relationship. The "mother" wants him as far from her as possible. The "sister from hell" points a gun at him, has her security threaten to kill him, but, the stupid MC, Loves Them.

What a load of bollocks.

I don't about others but for me, every time I see Felicity she feels fake. I just want to punch her face in.... Idk whether it's the character model's face or the two faced behavior towards the mc. Either way if there's an option or route to flip the script on his so called "family" and take them out of the picture before they try something similar on the mc, I think many people would be very satisfied with that. Sure it would go according to the Dev's canon but if the player can't make choices to decide on where the story is going to go, then what's the point of making a choice based VN? It's better to make it a movie at that point.

1 - Many users reported serious memory issues, including computer crashes — and I experienced it myself afterwards! This was due to the Ren'Py version 7.8.7 used to build v0.40. I was forced to recompile the game using Ren'Py 7.6.3 (the same version used for Frozen Past v0.38), and this issue is now resolved!
HOWEVER! Saves made with v0.40 will not work with v0.40.1! My apologies for the inconvenience.
2 - Some of you also reported problems progressing through the game when certain romances are rejected. That’s not supposed to happen, since Frozen Past allows you to block each romance and choose your preferred sexual practices. I worked hard to fix this, and after extensive testing, it should now be 100% resolved!
3 - I also took the opportunity to correct numerous bugs and some typos — especially in French (my native language... how embarrassing).
4 - And finally, I added a little shower fantasy scene for Ms. Token — as a way to make up for the inconvenience.

So, I dunno, maybe try that?

I already understood that this is kinetics, I wrote it myself in my next comments about kinetics, but in the tags there was no kinetics, so the author deceived everyone by creating the illusion of a choice that does not exist
