He doesn't run after his relatives, on the contrary he tries to stay away from them as much as he can, but still has duties towards them. MC chose of his own accord to not stay at his sister's house (one of the reasons being because it's not safe anyway). And finally found a solution. You seem to be bothered by the fact he was helped by a herma. I'm not. And you can say everything you want but, the more the story progress the better his situation gets. A loser is someone being incapable of doing what he needs to. And you know what ? The story shows that the MC more than capable of doing "things" and gets some progresses on his objectives.
So no, I would never agree to your statement. Because it's not what I am seeing.
don't forget they didn't even give him his papers and ID too.

Well they can't have him doing something reasonable like finding a place to live, getting a job or leaving the town, now can they?
That would mean that they aren't in control of every aspect of his life and what he can or cannot do.
Is the game abandoned? The patreon of the creator hasn't been updated since 8th of July, and it was only on the 3rd of the same month that the creator gave some indication that the development was ongoing. It has been radio silence since then. Any news from anyone?

Let me give you a simpler example of why the protagonist is a loser. Take anyone: you, me, or anyone else. The situation is complete amnesia. You have a ton of questions, but when you ask them, you're lied to, ignored, and treated like a loser. Suddenly, you see a photo in which you notice things that raise questions: what will you do? Will you run to those who ignored you, lied to you, and treated you like a loser? Or will you begin to analyze the situation and wait for the right moment to use this information? That's the answer to why the protagonist is a loser.

Now, regarding the hermaphrodite, I have no problem with hermaphrodites. I don't care. I'm highlighting this moment only to show the comical and insignificant nature of the main loser. We have a moron in charge who doesn't think about what he'll eat or where he'll live. He just goes with the flow and doesn't even consider that his mother might hire a hermaphrodite after they met, but in reality, this is another way of controlling him. The main character's problem is that he doesn't think at all. He has problems with this. The question even arises whether the main character is a loser or just an idiot, or both at once, because one doesn't exclude the other.

How do u know: That he's not just really playing the roll as the "idiot/loser" that u, his mom, sister(s), & or anyone else who may think that he really is, as his way of not letting them know just how much intell that he's truly been gathering this whole time along the side, all the while thru their lies that they been feeding him???
Cause u speak ur assumption: As if though its the whole moral of the story & there's just no more to it; as if it wraps up the whole story & that's that, like as if its ended & there's just no more to it & u can't be proven wrong about it because u seen the future and its past & it says there's no more to the story. Its done....
That the main idiot collected the photo that he got from his mother, he didn't collect it himself, all the main loser does is just fuck and that's it, he doesn't think at all, not a gram, the moment when he wanted to freeze himself, it wasn't a game, he really wanted to do it, for the whole time, he didn't do a damn thing, zero action, zero thinking, the main loser is so stupid that it's terrible, he doesn't think at all, he just goes with the flow, he's an idiot, only a blind person can't see it

I don't care about morality. I care about choice and the choice I wanted. I don't have it. All I wanted was to annoy mother, the bitch, and sister as much as possible. But considering who they let me play, I definitely won't get that. Why is the main character a loser? First, because I've already described why in detail in many comments. But he's also a loser because they even managed to shoot him. He clearly didn't have much of a brain, even when his memory was in place. He's a loser.

Hey Leonave, still continuing this game? Please don't abandon it. It has pretty amazing and unique models I've not seen in many other games. Especially love Emilie and the "mom", and want to see their relationship develop with the MC.

Update released for the top 2 tiers
The memory leak issue was caused by a faulty version of Ren'Py. I’ve had this version tested, and I’ve tested it myself as well and no memory leaks whatsoever!
Yes, I’m continuing development, even though it’s been heavily slowed down by a new job. Still, I’ve managed to adjust and find a way to keep working on Frozen Past.
