Where does the ladder go on the russian village (farm) level? As far as I know I'm not missing any other items but I can't figure out where it goes. I thought it might have went to the well but that isn't working for me.

You need the ladder to get out of the well. To get in you need a rope.
I think the rope is hanging outside the barn( where the horse is inside)
