I think it's that they are made of low poly models with just flat textures - Bambook's idea maybe was to use 3D objects to try and mimic his simplistic background styling but they really don't.. I agree lighting is partially to blame for that as well.

I liked Bambooks simplistic art style though. The argument someone made was "Oh but we get faster content with 3D backgrounds" but honestly.. is that true? The Beach level took like a year..?

Lol, no it didn't? It took about three months from EroRing if memory serves me right.

We've had 2 games this year.. EroRing and Beach .. and it's Almost September..? No?

Is this really "faster" ? If the current game he's got in progress takes a month or longer we are unlikely to see a Halloween game. Maybe a Christmas game..?

This is a bit of a stretch but when he said he could do them faster, I think he was referring to the backgrounds themselves being done faster, so he could put more effort into the characters and the scenes. It's also possible he switched to 3d because he wanted to experiment, he did do Jingle Balls 3D in the past so he does have some experience. Another thing I did notice as well was that he released a boat load of games during 2019 - 2021. It's possible he decided to slow down in 2022 onwards, both for his health (drawing alot and not pacing yourself will legit cause your hand to get injured overtime) and also to avoid burnout.

If you haven't seen the previews yet, the next game releasing is based on a university. While Bambook did confirm he might do another christmas based game in the future (this was said in a tweet or a comment in one of his patreon posts), it's only a possibility and not fully confirmed when he will do it. He did do a halloween game the previous year, so it was already unlikely he would do another one this year.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to obtain it, but thanks to Gmail's blur not being super strong I did make a bit of a guess to what is possibly there. Check the spoiler. According to Bambook, the preview version comes out in a few days. After that, the actual game will be probably released about a week or so after.

Another thing, if you haven't seen it, Bambook has recently made an Itch.io page with 3 games available (Sunset Bitch, Halloween and Ero Ring). Weird thing to mention but in his Itch.io page, but both Halloween and Ero Ring are actually free to download right now on it. Don't know why but I guess it's cool nonetheless.

One last thing, I'm curious about which gals featured in the gamedev screenshots are you most excited for. I'd say either the Dean or the blonde professor are who I'm excited for, because their designs look great even without their clothes off. Played it, there's 2 characters the principal and the gym coach, the principal has a pretty good cow girl scene but the gym coach was futa and her scenes were kinda just ok. Should've made another character futa or just have male on futa to be real.

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay on the Wedding Rings and Deep Space galleries. I'm having some trouble trying to export the idle animation of the bride. However, I did manage to peak into the code of the preview and there are actually 3 characters with scenes finished and these include (their names are based from the code) Director, Trainer and Teacher. I did also manage to export all of their animations that were included in the code of the game. They can be found in the spoilers and I guess I'll add the scenes in the preview to the gallery, once the full game is released. I do kinda hope that there will be a V2. Also, the idle animations for the three remaining girls, Futa 1 (orange haired girl), Futa 2 (purple haired girl) and student will also be below but their sex scenes haven't been added to the game.

So based from what I've seen, I will say that this is a little bit better than Ero Ring so far but I guess we will see more in the full game.
