as much as Fug is one of my Goats its kinda sad to see how few animations we get now. up to 2021 he used to make like 20-50 a year, then 22 still 14 and then since 2023 we gotten 10 animations (5,3 and now 2). at this rate we might see the last Fug animation ever in 2026
on the bright side at least focusing more on the pinups probably lets Fug go further in terms of sculpting which I'd assume is much easier done for 1 frame and angle than having it work in motion, but still doing all that scene building, posing and lighting should already be the majority of the work done, kinda a shame the projects end before they go into motion

Mostly
He's definitely moved away from animations in favor of more pin-up images, but I can understand why.
There's like 500 different animators.
Fugtrup has a unique style that he can lean on to stand out if he sticks to sculpting and pin-up images. Animations also take a lot more work to get right.

ive seen people try and justify it because of jackie or something like that.
which is pretty stupid because we the player spend like 5 minutes with him in the grand scheme of things.
you dont even get to form any sort of attachment to him before he dies

I like Jackie, but I agree. We barely get to know him. Before he dies, because of all the building they could do with him it gets pushed into a montage. Before ultimately he's gone. Which in turn means no one really feels bad about dating Misty because we don't really get to know him.
