I am a furry myself (My Avatar is a 15th century anthropomorphised demon Judas), and I have only rarely seen people getting attacked here. I mean, compared to other places I've been on, it's been surprisingly accepting.
The only thing I've seen are "Heh, gay" posts, but those posts tend to be taken out back and shot by Mod firing squad pretty quickly. They are mostly trolls, so you don't really need to bother with them.
