Hm. Thinking about it, the one on the left looks like a reaction pose. I'm so used to furry being weird and sorta-dumb that a character who just wears their hood like that would be sorta par for the course.

(Nowadays it's mostly neon body colors. A decade or so ago I think it was tattoos or biomechanical spaceship engines powered by fucking. 20 years ago it was Doug Winger-style hyper, before hyper was as passé as it is today.)

A propos of nothing, DLSite's Japanese side has kind of a cute April 1 joke going on.

I'll admit it: April Fool's is probably my favorite holiday of the year. I don't mean that I go out of my way to pull jokes on that day--every day is a good day for humor.

• It's a little bit like Halloween and a secular Christmas and rolled into one holiday.
• Everybody everywhere can (and does!) celebrate it with no religious or sectarian baggage to shit it up.
• The whole idea is to get into the spirit of humor and goodwill and laughing at yourself and other people, which the world needs more of all the time.
• You create a weird mass-consensual-fantasy/delusion situation in the process of a good April Fool. Usually more than one at a time now that we have the Internet.
• It hasn't yet been turned into a nightmarish capitalist treadmill of buying food or cards or meaningless gifts for people you might not even like.
• To pull it off, people actually have to apply their brains a little bit, and incentivizing people to think is another thing the world needs more of.

Actually, F95 is a football club from Germany. At first, they ranked higher on google than we did. Now our threads dominate the google search and the football club is lost in there now.

Think about it.. furry is more popular than football.
